When I tried to answer your post, brother, honestly...I just found myself all tied up in knots.

The Lord unraveled me ...

I have always been and will always be eternally indebted to Him for loving a wretch like me.

Peace n Love~

Maybe my perspective is all wrong, but sometimes
I don't know why the Lord WOULDN'T love certain people.
I find it pretty easy to love some, although I don't really know what love is,
but I just can see real easy why He would love some.

Then I think that the only one He Wouldn't love is me...
I mean...I KNOW I'm a wretch, but I'd have a REAL hard time
ever seeing that in you.

Most ppl here in fact, I think it's pretty easy to love.

And even if some are a bit ornery, I can still see
that they're only human and nobody's perfect, so
they can be loved.

Maybe some ppl in the world, it's pretty hard,
but I know I'm unlovable, so how can I judge.

But if I look in the mirror, (before it cracks, :p ),
if there's someone that can't be loved,
I'm looking at it.

I know the bible says that while we were
yet sinners, Christ died for us, but I just
find it so much easier to see how that applies
to everyone else.

I guess a lifetime of being alone, and being
treated kinda mean alot, plus my own sinfulness,
has caused those feelings to get pretty deep rooted
over time, and the world, the flesh, and the devil,
even other christians, sometimes, just confirms it,
it's just hard NOT to believe it. It's a struggle, sometimes.

I like this not because I like this but because I can relate to it, and also because it breaks my heart.

You know ...I'm letting CC get to me ... and I shouldn't ...
Here is my personal, radical and honest reply to your question.
I love the Lord Jesus ... I believe He loves me ... and really I don't worry about salvation.
His WILL be done! :) If His will is done then I'm happy! :)
I feel that my place is with Him ...
If the Lord wants me with Him forever, then I am honored.
I LOVE the Lord! ... I LOVE His ways!
I love Him regardless of any rewards or punishments.
My love is not dependent on these things.
PHEW! I feel much better now! Praise God! :)
Amen! I feel much the same way, and it is nice to know there are others. :)

I don't ever want anyone else to feel this way,
I know Jesus loves them...God so loved the world
He gave His only begotten Son,

so anyone that doesn't believe that,
is just not believing the truth,
and I know I must sound ridiculous now,
it's just that I see myself
as unlovable, and there hasn't been
alot to prove differently,
and I make the mistake of figuring
God sees me the way
other ppl or myself do. Does. Do? Whatever. :p

The fact of the matter is that probably most people see themselves that way at one time or another to some extent or another. That is one of the reasons why you are not supposed to rely on your own understanding... in all your ways acknowledge Him, and I know you do, but more of Him and less of you in your self assessment can only lighten your burden, for Jesus took on the veil of flesh, and suffered as we do, and knows what we deal with, and loves us all the same.

Well, hallelujah and praise the Lord!
There truly is a God and He answers prayers, too. :D
and I hope you know I'm just kiddin around with you,
brother, but, my oh my, I see repentence,
faith and good works, all in the changing
of the positions of your quotes and replies! Lol

Thank you Grace and thank you Jesus.

Now, if you go back to the old way, is that like the sow
returning to the slop, and does that mean we have to kick
you out of the forums until you learn not to blaspheme?

Or does it mean you never truly repented,
so kicking you out of something you were
never in would be meaningless?

Because after reading through this whole thread,
I am absolutely exhausted, but if we helped one
person (Grace7s) see the light and get his posts in order,
even if that's the only good that came out of all this,
it would all have been worth it! (all in fun)

Oh, and in case
nobody told you all today.......
and I mean all.......Jesus loves you!!! :)

Btw, As per the OP, I believe in Jesus...
I believe He died for my sins,
I believe He rose from the grave,
I'm trusting in Him and Him alone
for my salvation, and I believe that
salvation and eternal life is a gift from God.

Does that:
A: Mean I am saved?
B: Am I now Once Saved and
therefore Always Saved? or
C: Should I be worried...
Is there something I must do
for fear of losing my salvation?

A and B Would be correct. If C is correct. How could you have any hope to have faith in? You wouuld have no hope at all. because you would have to rely on yourself. and not God.

I think many times sadly we look at things through mans eyes and not Gods.. Thus we see only certain people worth loving, and forget, God loved all men.. willing that non should perish.. Even our ost hated enemy, He loves.

Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God
, for true and just are his judgments.
Rev 19:1-2

Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.

They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony;

they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them!

Rev 12:10-12

Thanks so much Blain, Nu2see and Magenta for you kind words of support. When I wrote it I thought a barrage of stones would come my way ... you threw flowers. I expected arguments but you offered love instead ... hugs.

And Peter - your words made me weep - with joy ... I had never though of that scripture ... Thanks so much ... God bless you.

Nu2see - I know how you feel ... God showed me so much love - and yet it took Him a long time still to convince me.

God loves you, I love you and I'm sure there are many others here who love you too, brother.

I pray that God heals you ... so you can start experiencing that love. :)

Peace and Love to all ...

This could have easily been my post. After what I've been thru, after what I've done to myself in flagrant violation of God's commands, I find it incredible that He still loves me, that He still has mercy, that He has that much longsuffering to put up with me.
Yet He does. His love is immeasurable.
As long as one is willing to repent, He is willing to repair.
Those that believe one cannot backslide and then find salvation once again are calling me and my walk with God a lie.
You can turn and walk away from God, but if you recognize your error and are sincere, He can, will, and does, forgive.
So the next time you see yourself as unlovable, you pull up my posts and read my testimony. He loves me and He loves you.
God is great beyond description.

and to think -- this is the love we should have for each other!

how true that "
we love because He first loved us" -- because i would not know how to love, or have love in me, unless He first showed it to me like this.

Thank you, e-g, for giving a direct answer
to my question from post #997.

You know, there were quite a number of ppl
debating on this thread, and I don't know if anyone
got any satisfaction, or if anyone changed their views
after hearing an opposing side, but there were at least
a half-dozen ppl being very opinionated,
and things got pretty heated, but out of those ppl,

you were the only one who answered my simple
questions directly, so thank you so much for that.

I saw a couple of our beautiful sisters also contributed,
one response was so moving it should be given
a place of honor, just so great.

Another was very heartfelt, though it addressed
a slightly different issue, but still really moving,
and at least there were a few ppl
that cared enough to connect without arguing,

and yet they weren't even part of the big debate
for the most part, but thanks to them sincerely.

Another added some good cheer,
and another quoted some scripture
(which I'm not sure was the point of,
and didn't answer the q), but those are always
welcome things, but so far, only one direct answer,

from all the experts who were so
strong on their stances only a day ago.

It's just questions, not a finals exam.
I was just wondering ppls views
re: the OP's suggestion,
so the q in post #997 is still open.

*NOTE*
As I went to submit this, I noticed a few more posts
added, so please don't take my above words personally
to yourself, I'm really grateful for replies, because I know
all too well what it feels like to be ignored at length.....

I don't know of much else that hurts worse...
ridicule, rejection and then being ignored, may do more
damage than just about anything in life, and I'm more
familiar with them than most other things, so it's easy
to fall into, and remain, in the thinking
that that's what I deserve and should expect in life.

That's why the whole OSAS debate is so important
to me. If Jesus doesn't save me, and save me completely,

I'm pretty well certain not to make it, because if it's in any
way dependent on me, I'm sure to fail miserably, like most
have told me I would, and I always felt like that anyway.

Lastly, it's why I really don't like the excessive
use of the 'ignore' button. Christians should be
different from the rest if the world in that regard.

We should be using every opportunity to exercise
forgiveness, reconciliation, peace and love.

I understand if it's a dangerous situation, okay,
other than that, it should be an absolute last resort,
or really not at all.

It's just not christian to treat
someone like that, if someone's trying
to communicate
with you, do whatever you can to reason together.....

If after all attempts by both parties have been exhausted,
you may have to not pay attention to them for a while,
but keep the possibility to reconcile open.

Ignoring someone makes that impossible.
Yes, it's hard sometimes, but that ignore thing
gets tossed around with pride, way too easily.

Freely we have received, we should freely give.
Let brotherly, and {{{sisterly ♡}}}, love continue.
God bless you in His grace today.

(and hey, I'm only a mistake-prone person, so
please don't take anything I say too seriously,
or in a negative way).
I mean no harm or judgement,
and maybe I'm just a little down right now.
I'll probably be back to happily, but unintentionally,
offending before long. :p Help me, Jesus save me, Lord.

You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven.
Matt 5:43

God bless you EG, God bless you Grace7x77.

Thankyou truly for the encouragement you have given me to learn about hyper-grace, to grow in understanding about theology, calvanism, armenianism, and all the different and complex areas of church history and where we are today.

I would not be the man I am today without your contributions. In a strange way without people with conviction, we would say nothing here then. When I suggested back in december are there any hyper grace believers here, along came grace7x77 to show me its full measure.

You have not idea how the Lord uses everyone and every situation. I bow my knee to the Lord of Lords and acknowledge I am merely sinner saved by grace, called to follow His glorious example, and wonder how he takes our weaknesses to build His kingdom.

Just think without the trials of the early church we would not have the letters of Paul. Without the fall of Jerusalem in AD70 we would probably not have had the gospels. The Lord uses everything which in our wisdom we call failure, but he brings His will to fruition. Amen, and praise be to Him.
You cannot "God bless" anyone or pray for them. That's work based salvation!!!!! LOL

Some people.

This makes absolutely no sense at all..

God blessing people. and praying for them, is not works,, It is devoid of works..

So how can it be works based salvation?

Sometimes when we try to make a funny to attack someone, we attack ourselves by the things we say, because we say things which are impossible to be, and everyone sees it, but sadly ourselves.

I know. Sadly I used to be this way.
