The gospel is good news. Jesus Christ came in the flesh to save his people. He justified them, sanctified and redeemed his chosen people thru his blood. He did not make it possible to be saved, he accomplished his purpose completely and SAVED all he came for.

What an honor, privilege and most precious thing it is to belong to him. Once he gives you his spirit, we can worship and praise him forever for his wonderful works.

Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness and for his wonderful work to the children of men.....Psalm 107 four times.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he has redeemed from the hands of the enemy......107:4

The gospel is the "good news " of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16).

The gospel is 1 Corinthians 15.
 
Not only is the Gospel the death,burial,and resurrection,of the Lord Jesus Christ,but one must believe that He is God manifest in the flesh,for if not,then one is saying that a normal person,born of a man and a woman,like you or me,can save mankind from their sins,but only a sinless man can,and only a sinless man can be the humanity of God.

Some believe Jesus is the savior,but look at Him as a normal person,or as a created God,which then they are not believing like they should.
 
The gospel is plainly stated in 1 Cor 15. The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection. It is important to preach the FULL counsel of the gospel!(Rom 15:19). One cannot simply stop at the death of Jesus, but preach the resurrection too, for Jesus said "I am the resurrection" in John 11:25. The gospel is also a bloody gospel for He shed His own blood, and then rose again the third day, in which He later took His own blood and applied it to the mercy seat in heaven(Heb 9:12, 24). It is by His blood are we eternally redeemed and safe forever.

"...without shedding of blood is no remission." Heb 9:22b

It is interesting that Jesus never calls Himself the 'Death and the Burial' but He does call Himself the Resurrection and the Life!!

For those who believe the story of Christ was only about his 'Death and the Burial', the gospel would be 'Bad News'. :)

It was not possible to be saved before JESUS made atonement for us because GOD gave dominion of the earth to man and no man could fulfill the law except JESUS who was fully man and fully GOD.

Under grace,It Is now possible to be saved and we have access to this grace through faith.
