We are to train them up. You and your church should be looking and recognizing men in your church that have the gift of teaching and give them doctrine and truth to send them out when they are ready.

The church I serve has been here for over 100 years. We are in a very rural area. We have 27 members. All but one of the men in this church are older than I am. The young men move to find work. Over the last 100 years there have been 10 or 12 young men that have gone out and served as pastors of other churches. The pastor before me served 40 years before his death and the one before him served 28 years.
We give half of out church offerings to help suport young men doing mission work in foreign countries.
I wish we could do more.

And every need that we have is in His word. The problems are going to come. The solutions should already be in place.

This is the major issue. Every problem we have has a solution in the Word. If the Word is being properly taught, the sheep have the solution before the problem comes.

But if the Word is not being properly taught, the sheep have no solutions when the problems arise...........this is why church is more like a psych ward in todays world.

Well the church I serve is not like a psych ward.
It is a loving family. We care and share.

Actually, I think a pastor is more like a shepherd. He is to care for their every need.

The better the shepherd, the more enjoyable, and less stressful are his duties.

Have you ever considered that the church had to change somewhat to accomodate the masses? Have you ever considered most pastors usually feel humble in their position. Yes, there are bad apples. You can't use their example to call all pastors into question. Reminds me of the parable of the Wheat and Tares.

I still believe His way on this is the right way. So we are finally getting down to the dare bones. Most of you reject His plan in favor of mans plan which you believe is acceptable accommodation. I have already written on the consequences of rejecting the word of God and the scriptures that speak in no uncertain terms about doing so.

I serve in the office of pastor/shepherd/ bishop/elder, what ever name you call it.
I SERVE a local church. The local church choose me by a vote of the members. They can vacate the office any time they choose. I count it an honor to SERVE these people for almost 20 years now.

They do not submit to me, I simply teach and lead in the study of God's Word.

As for as what you teach that is false?
You say ALL churches and pastors are evil and sinfull. Not only is that false, it is an outright lie.
That makes you a liar.

You have never been to the church I serve, you do not know me, and yet you lied about me.

You still have not confirmed the scriptures in question. That tells me you don't agree with the word on this.

Are you the head pastor above other pastors in your assembly?

Do you place 'pastor' in front of your name?

Are you working a secular job or are you sponging off of the folks?

I know. The first church I served was in the metro Dallas area. I was 24 years old. It was a very tough 9 years, but very much to my benifit. Trial by fire.

But I do not believe you preverted view of the Word.
Read my post again. I am a SERVANT of a local church. I SERVE the needs of the congregation, just like a shepherd serves the needs of a flock of sheep.
And just for the record. The church gives me small love offering each week. My offering to the church each week is $100 more than the offering I receive. I did not ask for a offering, they insist on giving it.

Now go ahead and condem these loving people for their evil ways and me for being a part of it.

Believers are not known or identified as sinners any longer.......even though we still sin and do EVERY single one of those sins.

Because believers are In Union with Christ and are identified as IN Christ.
