The Resurrection:

Resurrection: fact or fiction. You may have come across some wild claims that Jesus did not raise up in 3 days. You may have heard other wild stories that may have put a small amount of doubt in your life and belief. One thing for sure, whether we are Christian or not, the devil is the biggest liar, he is the father of lies, and if any of you fall for them, you would of have fallen for his doubts and then start to listen to other people, buying there lies that the Devil has told them, instead of listening to what God say’s. Here are a few options and doubts that I have heard and what they think happened. And then let’s answer these doubts and lies that the enemy has put upon them.

The options:

1 Mistake: - The women mistook the grave.
2 Delusion - It was all in the mind; they saw a ghost.
3 Fraud: - The body was stolen either by the Romans, the Jews or the disciples.
4 Swoon – He never died.
5 Magic! – was it sorcery.

Now let’s answer theses doubts by asking a counter question to those questions!

· Why was the tomb empty?
· Why couldn’t they produce the body?
· Why was there no evidence of decay in the tomb?
· Why were the clothes left behind?
· Why were people totally transformed?
· Why was Jesus seen by over (500) people after he was risen?
· Why would 11 men die for a lie?

The Devil will always try to put doubt in our hearts. Why? Because he don’t want you to know the truth, Oh Yeh! Did you know that the devil actually knows the bible? Of course he does, he knows it inside and out. How do you think he knows how to twist it and then whispers in your life little twists doubts. We are more vulnerable than you think. And now the time is getting closer to the end. The devil and his followers are getting even more active.
Get to read the Bible, ask God for understanding, trust in his wisdom, believe in his word and hold close to your hearts what he is saying to you. Because only his truth will set you free.

Why would 11 men die for a lie?

On of the most powerful evidences.

People will die for what they think is the truth, but no one will die for what they know is a lie.

and behind it all, is the enemy, who is the father of lies and deceit. Whcih is what the devil himself wants everyone to do, is to die with his lies.

· Why was there no evidence of decay in the tomb?

Just a heads up in your argument. (I agree with most of it.)

1. Considering they didn't have the technology we have today, exactly what kind of evidence of decay would have been found in a mere three days? And where is the proof on what was left in that cave?

2. As for the clothes left behind? Clothing a dead person is a matter of dignity. If you're robbing a grave, you already prove you have no qualms about removing any dignity, so what does clothes left behind prove?

(Personally, I'd remove those two questions and then all is set back to logical again.)

Just a heads up to you, that I didn't post this thread to argue, or to have arguments. And this post is not an argument. those questions are there for a reason and will not be deleted. Perhaps if you read through it all again, and think about it in a different angle. you will see what those questions mean and see how it was relevant to the post.

Thank you for your comment though and I respect your comment.
