Like the kid in your avatar?
Huh? What do you mean by that?[/QUOTE]

He's jealous that you look so much younger and he's an internet tough guy who likes to insult everyone. He's not as unfriendly to you as to Joyce Meyer and denim wearing ladies here though. Those are called skanks.

Here is a great video when you have time to watch...it talks about 2 Timothy 2:12 and the historical social environment it was given in...it gives great insights....:)

Maybe I missed it but I don't think anybody answer the question I asked earlier so I will ask again. I have been married to two women, do I still qualify to be a bishop?

This is where the letter of the word is throwing us off...it says the husband of one wife...one wife..not 2 or 3 wives at the same time......this is where our religious teachings have made the intent of the word useless and void in some cases.

Right like the Pope knows anything about Christianity.. Here are the biblical qualifications, do I qualify since I have been married twice? No smart comment about the other qualifications lol.

1 Timothy 3:1-2 KJV
This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. [2] A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

Oh lol it says bishop. Is that where they get the title from? My such old language. Overseeer. I thought only the catholics had bishops and some weird charismatics who think they're someone.

There is no difference between an elder, pastor or a bishop..they are exactly the same thing...Acts 20:17, 28 and 1Peter 5:1-3 talks about all 3 of them as the exact same people.
