What about when men act inappropriately towards women? It happens often enough.
Timothy dealt with it. That's the point. (Also the point of my post yesterday, but once again it went to women need to dress modestly.) Men are supposed to handle this kind of thing. That's their job. Simply because most men won't doesn't mean that part of the job description disappeared. Men have responsibility. It's not really so much a matter of the only thing they need to now is if we are dressing modestly. And yet, that continues to be the goal -- dress modestly, shut up, women should be seen (woohoo) but not heard.

This is man's failure. It is not our job. It's theirs.

BUT, since they won't, be forewarned, I do go for the well-placed knee if I get stuck handling it myself.

No. That is the fallen order. That is the order of the curse. That is not the creation order given by God.
But now we are one body, no male or female, no member lording it over another.
In fact, the weaker parts are to be shown greater honor.
This response, your other, and the explanation Coby posted about Jesus and Israel and Judah and divorce, just some out standing insight.
And to think I thought I could never learn from woman.

Not that kind of love.
Phileo love, I guess.
And the agape love from God,
which I admit I don't understand.

But not eros love, in it's true sense.
But I can already hear the
'it must be my fault type of good cheers'
coming down the pike......
which would only prove my
point in the last post, so I knew
I shouldn't have said anything.

I thinking I oughta just start lying and
tell ppl I've had 3 or 4 broken relationships,
ppl will probably start fawning all over me
trying to help me find a 5th or 6th, lol. :p
Why do you think that? Nobody is trying to help me find
another relationship. Or is that only operative for men?

Well, it seems obvious to me he is addressing married women only,
since he admonishes them to consult their husbands at home. :)
Before I was married, if I didn't get something during the service, I asked the guy who gave the sermon. If anyone has authority over that sermon, it ought to be the guy who gave it.

What does the Bible say or teach about women preaching the Word of God?

Example:
How about " Paster Joyce Meyer "
Well, i suppose the scripture is clear: read 1.Timothy 2, 12. The reason is not because a woman is not able to do this.
The reason you find in vers 13, read also Genesis 3, 16.
Its because the man was build before the woman and Eva followed Satans sayings.
When a woman preaches, she teaches and has so authority over man.
And according Genesis 3.16 it is gods penalty, for her missleading of Adam.
Thats what bible says.

I don't think woman should be dressing immodestly. Especially not Christian woman.

What excuse did Adam give to his children as to why he no longer lived in Eden? "Your mother ate us out of house and home."

Do you think it goes back to Adam and Eve? Sometimes I wonder,
because woman was deceived, but man chose to sin willfully.

the deception came from the serpent, through eve, and deceived adam. everyone was deceived. adam and eve are 1. together they fell. they will return in unity. that's why there is no individuality in Christ, no labels like under the law. Jesus body is 1. his bride 1. think of this and marriage as regards to the bride and groom as pertains to the church. if a man or woman is called to speak, there words are pointing to Jesus Christ, they are approved by God. we began as one, end as one.

You did respond to that post already, but it does make me want to ask again, to whom can the child turn when a male authority figure is the abuser? Especially in an environment where all such matters are completely hush hush. The child is made to feel guilty for something they did not do and are in no way responsible for.

It's incredible. First seeing the thread title Paster Women, was it Pastor Women meant? Faster Women? Pasteurized Women? Here we are, 58 pages and over a thousand posts. Do you think some interest could be generated in Ezekiel's Temple, if I started a thread Easykule's Temple?

Scripture says that Eve was deceived and that sin entered the world through one man (Adam).
