Scripture says that Eve was deceived and that sin entered the world through one man (Adam).

exactly, do you see why? the command was given to adam. where there is no law saying don't do this, there is no transgression of that law, wich is sin. eve allowed the deception adam chose to follow it, having been commanded not to by Gods word. so the deception, caused and really is the sin. wich came from satan. eve knew the command, but it was entrusted by God to adam. without eve adam would have never heard the deception, she came from him. without adam eve could never have sinned because the command was entrusted to adam. we are one. we fell together woman and man. both are responsible, but the true enemy is satan the deceiver.

Well, I will speak only for my situation. My two girls are like the woman on this thread, they will not keep quiet about anything. My younger one tells me, when she feels that she is being disciplined for a no good reason that she has a right to explain herself. She is seven. Tells me with conviction., straight to my face.
My older one, who is nine, more or less does the same thing.
But of course that does not mean they may not keep something quiet of a serious nature.
Since their mom died 13 months ago, they both see therapists at school.
And I tell them to just say what is on their mind about anything. Being Christian, I tell them to never, ever lie about anything, no matter what it is. And they see the way I live that.
Also, their Aunt and Uncle are close to us, and they see them a fair amount, that is why I had so much time this last 3 days, they were at their house.
The kids also are now trained in their schools about what is appropriate or not, and are encouraged to say something.
But of course, there are always those that will slip through the cracks.

Oh, but you are right, my apologies, I did initially say women as well, women being abused by men, asking is it not appropriate to rebuke a man in such a situation? What is a girl/woman supposed to do? Act weak and be completely mowed down, or speak with authority and rebuke the offender? A woman would know how to respond, but not necessarily a young girl.

Boy! Are you cruising! Hope you have your helmet on! Here, let me help you take some heat,

Why was Adam created first? To give him a chance to say something.

Not that kind of love.
Phileo love, I guess.
And the agape love from God,
which I admit I don't understand.

But not eros love, in it's true sense.
But I can already hear the
'it must be my fault type of good cheers'
coming down the pike......
which would only prove my
point in the last post, so I knew
I shouldn't have said anything.

I thinking I oughta just start lying and
tell ppl I've had 3 or 4 broken relationships,
ppl will probably start fawning all over me
trying to help me find a 5th or 6th, lol. :p
You could have married if you wanted to. Could've just picked up a drug crazed woman from a mental hospital if you wanted to. I picked up such a husband there. Jealous?
After 2 divorces I was jealous of my brother who neatly stayed single all his life and he didn't envy me one bit. It encouraged him to stay single.

Why do you think that? Nobody is trying to help me find
another relationship. Or is that only operative for men?
Well, it's pretty obvious....a guy says that,
and many women jump out to be 'consoling'.

But the guy who's not had that love,
continues to get overlooked.
It's just the way ppl are , I guess.

I guess the bible's true about he who has,
more will be given, but he who doesn't have,
even what little he might will be taken away.

As far as you being a woman,
a woman doesn't ever have to be alone
if she doesn't want to be.

She's a woman, if she wants a guy,
I'm guessing she could get one easy.
(Or in this day and age, even a woman.)
And become paster's, too, lol.

Do you think it goes back to Adam and Eve? Sometimes I wonder,
because woman was deceived, but man chose to sin willfully.
It's the same thing with the man who believes that because of a past sin (which, after reading further in the thread, she was the one who left, not him) God would never allow him to serve others in whatever capacity God wants him in. Men have convinced him that the verse means he is disqualified from certain types of service to the body, but men don't get to declare who is called to what. God is the one who calls and gifts and equips. With all the talk of women usurping authority, you would think someone would have the eyes to see that men have usurped the Holy Spirits authority.

And as if what they've done to this man isn't enough, they want to place us women under their usurped authority by claiming we are still under the curse, calling it Gods creation order when its NOT Gods "creation order,"its the curses after the fall.

So what they do to this man is bad enough, but what they do to women is even worse because -well, it's not really worse, it's equally as bad. It's seeking to yoke us, men and women, all over again, when that Precious Blood was shed to redeem us from our bondage.

I can't even comprehend how this has happened and we got so far off course and back into this bondage. God called a murderer of our brothers and sisters to a great ministry and we have all been unspeakably blessed by Paul and his letters. A murderer of us became a great blessing to us, yet a man whose wife leaves him is not holy enough in Christ to preach if God calls him to it?
How did we come to this bondage all over again??

I think just any woman or man can have a BF or GF or even husband or wife, if they wanted. And even in a relatively short period of time, if they were resolved to.
The real issue is the quality of person.
I am of the school better to stay by yourself then get involved with nonsense.
It can be lonely at times, yes, but with Jesus, and all the other stuff to keep busy with, the time passes fast.

Scripture does make clear that the commandment was given to Adam, we do not know what he told Eve, or why he was silent while Eve was being deceived. They did fall together, and both sinned, but Eve sinned was because she was deceived. 1 Tim 2:14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. Then Adam blamed Eve, and Eve blamed the serpent, being seduced by deceit :p

Well, you are wrong, and seem to assume a lot about what it is like for women.
Who are you looking at to come to these conclusions? Twenty year olds?

And being brought up in an environment where women are to serve men and be silent and bow to male authority, when the men do take advantage of their position and abuse their power, which we know has happened a lot throughout history right into our very lifetimes, it is so much easier for the abusers to prevail with their perversions. Such a system needs to fail.

So is man responsible for His wife's sin?
Some theologians think Adam ate the fruit because he saw his wife in this predicament of death but I can't recreate the learning that some of these theologians think.

This fallen world everything is opposite.
Men should strive to serve their woman. Woman the same.
Then no one would complain...

My kids just came back home. I have to go make dinner.
Then our routine is we watch Supergirl at 8pm on Monday nights.

God bless you all.

I wasn't commenting on liberalism. I was commenting on the ridiculousness of lumping something that has some scriptural validity in with something that does not.
I think ridiculousness is a rather strong word, but then again, I have no dog in this fight.
