I love "visuals"...Here is one of my favorite sayings.....I love the New Covenant where Jesus is our righteousness!

The old led to the new. It was a symbol. no one was ever saved by following the old. because the old demanded perfection. In fact it still does. Whoever does not put themselvrs uner the new, is required to fulfill the old

The old was given so the people of the old could know Christ when he came, It kept them in check until the real high priest came, who would satisfy their own grace requirements, and they, who were saved by Faith as we are. could be redeemed also.

You don't expose. You just accuse.
No, Accuse is accusing without proof. Just like my first few posts in this thread against the false accuser Peter. I have been proving it over and over.

You call people Gnostic, Who do not resemble Gnosticism in any shape or form

You call people Hypergracers, claim they love disobedience over obedience, which is a lie. Which has been proven so many times, I can not even believe you still use it.

I can go on and on, But everyone sees the point.

ok now wait, are you saying king david lost salvation when he sinned?
David had salvation and got forgiveness for his sins ....they had the temple sacrifices in place until Christ came and His blood set them all free..

.what I liked about David is that he seemed to look into the future and see the true grace that was coming...I think this is what is meant by David had a heart after God..he understood what God's heart was really like..

I told ya months ago.

I am sick of your slander, You been slandering people long enough.
Provide a single example where I have slandered anyone. Your M/O is to just spew incessant false accusations: for whatever reason, I don't know, but it's probably because of your root of bitterness that you've not dealt with. Put your money where your mouth is.

Again.

this is why there is so much contention in chat, Because everyone refuses to listen to the other person. and continuously attacks the other person with false accusations.

This thread has lost any vitality, as if it ever had any to begin with since it was started with false accusations. and slander against a group of people

What does it take to get it closed?

David said sactrifice and burnt offering God did not desire. David knew they could not remove his sin.

Hebrews said no sacrifice ever removed sin.

David was saved the same way Abraham was, By Grace through faith not works. The same way we are. By Grace through faith not works.

Please say you understand this..

Because you are saying david was saved the same way JJ, Peter and HRFTD are saying we should be saved, by works, not grace.

See, this is what you do. You stir up trouble with false accusations; when you get called to the carpet to provide evidence for your accusations, you try to hide by deflecting to something else (this thread needs to be closed)

  1. Stir up trouble (with false accusations)
  2. Blame it on someone else (by accusing them of being the slanderers/false accusers)
  3. Offer a solution (close this thread)

I just gave a few, And I have given many.

You had me on ignore.. You did not even know I confessed my sin to a few people yesterday.

You think it is all about you. That's your problem.

You refuse to listen to people. and see what they believe completely. And try to put people under groupings. Someone trys to explain to you what they believe, Your response is always, That's gnostic, hypergrace, Augustion or calvin.

That is not discussing the word. That is putting people under groupings which are not even true.

People (not just myself) asked you kindly to stop it. It was not doing anything but causing division. But no. You could not do that, you had to keep doing it, and keep the division going.

So until you repent, and stop doing this, and actually start listening to what people say (getting a few things right about someone is not enough. Anyone can do that) and prove you KNOW WHAT THEY BELIEVE, even if you disagree.

Things will stay the same...

Angela, you have a very irritating, condescending and abusive spirit. I put you on ignore after your rude response to me earlier, but I must answer your charges against Peter because I don't like your abusive attitude. I frankly think that you are a poser, who pretends to have more spiritual authority than is rightfully yours. You try to act like Ms Authority, but in this particular arena, you seem to be abysmally ignorant. This controversy has been going on for months. I've watched it nearly every day since the beginning. Peter's observations are entirely correct. IMO, Peter's use of the indirect third person (they) was to conceptually discuss the topic without mentioning those who have verbalized these things. So your charge that Peter was slandering everyone on this forum is just stupid. You're trying to act like Ms. Large-and-in-Charge, and you have no clue what's going on. And if you do, then you are entirely guilty of partiality, because Grace777x70 habitually indulges in passive-aggressive "slander" using the indirect third party method. You had me fooled. I thought that you were worthy of respect.
Let me start off by saying, from my experience here, Angela is one of the most spiritually mature and knowledgeable Christians on these boards. She is patient, kind, and bold when she needs to be.

Now (Though I know he won't be reading this because he has me on ignore) you, HeRose, on the other hand, have been one of the most biblically illiterate, snide, immature, false-converts I've ever had the displeasure of discoursing with. You hardly ever answer questions directly, instead make sweeping statements that everything we bring up is gnosticism. When caught in a contradiction, you go back and change your post if given enough time.

The most telling of all your immature traits, is when someone is clearly thumping you theologically in a debate, you put them on ignore, trumping up charges that they were "rude" or "mean" to you. You do this to cut down your opponents to those you think you can beat in debate. It's cowardly.

You slam people for doing things that you yourself do, then deny you act in such a way. When backed into a corner, instead of admitting you may be wrong, you start your character assassination game - the one you are pulling with Angela right now.

You teach that obedience is necessary or a Christian will lose their salvation - which makes you a partner with Christ, sharing in His glory. (You deny this, but it's absolutely true). The reason you do this is obvious: you want praise that is only due Christ to feed your enormous ego. You want to be admired as some great theological teacher/elder, standing on high, calling down the lightning and fire on those you deem unworthy.

In my opinion, you think of yourself as some mighty warrior for Christ, when actually, you are only here to get the ego boosts you crave.

I've seen your kind plenty of times in my Christian life, and they all end the same. The burden of trying to be "good" under the guise of "obeying Christ's commandments" to keep your salvation, shipwrecks their faith, and the faith of others in their circle, because they can't live they way preach.

They teach abstinence from sin to maintain salvation, yet they still sin, every single day, and that fact destroys them. It's the cauldron where many atheists are made.

You have my pity, and my prayers.

I propose that we just ignore their malice and slanderous posts and post scriptures that show where they are in error.....sometimes when the knife is to the throat of a "saved cow" of some religious traditions....the offended get their gander up!......but it gives us a chance to preach the gospel of the grace of Christ...and of that I rejoice!

I say we just take "the hit" from those that revile us and walk on with others talking about the grace and love of our good Father and how great our salvation is in Jesus' finished work on our behalf.....that is my stance.....He is our defender and our great reward!.....:)

Those sacrifices never got sins forgiven - they only covered them. The Bible says the blood of bulls and goats can never get sins forgiven.

David was saved the same way all Old Testament saints were saved; by placing their faith in the promised coming Messiah - and that faith was credited to them as righteousness.

We are saying the same thing..wrorks never saved anyone....it is and always will be by faith alone....David and all others in the OT were saved by Jesus sacrifice only....the law was a shadow of what was to come..Jesus

Everyone who has been here for any length of time, ad knows Angela would agree with this statement with no doubts..

Even people who disagree with her on certain subjects.
