Sounds like a pilots twist on the old 'oops, we ran out of gas' gag some guys use to get a girl alone.

Don't worry, I;m not dumb enough to fall for that one.

A cessna 152 too... Providing it is at 40000 feet :p

Gliding rangs always depends on the altitude, gliding capacitiy of the airplane and the pilot keeping the plane at the best gliding speed.

Best gliding for c152 : 60 knots :)
