I posted something about Turkey recently. Briefly I mentioned a Bible Study I attended as a teenager way back around
1961/2 where Turkey was mentioned as a key player leading up to the return of Christ. In addition Turkey was the last
Empire that controlled the Middle East including what is now Israel. It could be the revived Empire of Revelation.

People trying not to step on toes and taking the bones out of their back is what's going to lead to more people being killed. The threat is real and they are able to feed on us because we sleep with our back door open. It's foolish to assume that opening our borders and letting potential threats come in is a good idea. I'm not saying totally close us off from people who really may be okay. But we need a very thorough back ground investigation on them before they enter.
But aside from the refugee factor, Isis and other Islamist extremist are still operating within our country and they may have even been born here. So I guess even closing our borders completely wouldn't even rid the threat all together.
What's probably going to end up happening is someone is going to bind these countries together with a great peace strategy and some way put the world into this false sense of security and before you know it we are called up and trumpets are blowing. I'm sure all of this is will only lead to the one world religion and the sad part is our country seems to be leading the way.
But I pray for our lords quick and awesome return and I pray for the ones who do not know him that they may see is glory and know he is lord of lords.

So therein is the problem! How can you vet someone that was born in a 3rd world country with no paperwork or searchable history?
We certainly can't go and interview anyone about the persons background or character.... so there's the rub...

i saw a republican senator on local 6 news this morning and he was saying that the republican party would rather see the democrats win then to let Trump have the nomination. He was of the opinion that the key to defeating isis is deploying ground troops in Syria to weed out their safe havens. This means working with Muslim communities who oppose isis ans not alienating and declaring war on all muslims as Trump wants to do. This is why Trumps policies will not succeed.
