I remember hearing them on the old Tooth and Nail Records compilation Helpless Among Friends. I bought the very first POD album, Snuff The Punk, because of it. That was around 23 years ago. Ive bought most of the albums they put out until When Angels And Serpents Dance, which I wasn't a big fan of. I think their second album, Brown, was their best release.

Dude, thank you for mentioning Extol... Being a metalhead myself, I do listen to the "Bad stuff" and just ignore the lyrics and listen to the music, and I thought of Extol as being just another satanic black metal band, Had no idea they were Christian. Looked up "Betrayal" by them on YouTube. Totally groovy from the first beat! Kudos!
