Now that is not attractive....
But what if he had the whole book of Ephesians on him and he went to jail in China for Christ?..the inmates could read the "word" off of him.......now that is cool!
What if the word was written in his mind and heart rather and not on his body as if it was some sort of scroll?
What if you were imprisoned for preaching the word of God and they dissallowed it in print and they chose to skin you alive because you put it there?
One thing is good to know...

I practiced Taichi for ten years ... I got my first tattoo of a yin-yang in the palm of my hand. Actually I did it myself.
And a few years ago after being reborn I got a tattoo of a cross, rather large, on my forehead, running down the bridge of my nose.

I look at tattoos similarly to alcohol and smoking as I don't have a problem with either of these things. Sure, you can mold scripture into what you want it to mean but it doesn't have anything to do with our relationship or walk with Christ and who are we to pass judgement on others?

The problem is the meaning of the " language" used.....here is the meaning today..in this world that we live in now. This is why the young girl was thrown off by the term "vile".....we live in 2016 now - not in 1611..

I have one and I want to get more. 
I've heard plenty of christians against them and plenty that aren't against them. At the end of the day, it's up to myself and my reasons for getting one. I see nothing wrong with them in general.

Which dictionary are you using that isnt the definition attached to the word in strongs

Every modern dictionary has "vile" in it as it is used in today's world..2016.....
You are missing the whole point.."vile" today in our modern English has a different meaning then what KJV Strong's gives it based on 1611 language....This is why the young Christian girl that started the OP addressed the words "Vile body"....if that isn't clear to you then we will just have to agree to disagree ..bless you....

Yeah I do know there are other dictionaries, I didnt realize people who study the scriptures used modern secular english definitions.
