I don't have any tattoos.... I'm cute enough already!

Ok, y'all can stop laughing now....

C'mon now, STOP it!.....

Ok, ok... I take it back..... I don't have any because I can't afford them. That better?

Actually, I have never had the least desire to get one. Just zero interest in it.

Oh, but to the OP..... I don't see anything sinful about it.

In my opinion, I don't see any purpose to them... why mark up your body? Be happy with who you are, and what you look like. Let your life-example speak for you, showing your true beauty...

Some folks think I'm just an old fuddy-duddy....

Oh... and they're borderline permanent..... I had a buddy that had "Mary" tattooed on his arm.... his wife's name was Anne....

Not judging anyone as a sinner but from my experience most tattoos in the past were to say you where a rebel. Scull and bones, snakes and devils. I know you can get all types of things today and even a bible verse. But why? We are the temple of the Holy Spirit and Jesus wants us to reflect His image. When i walk past tattoo pallors i get an evil vibe like demons are around.
If God wanted us to be covered in images and words He would have created us that way. Do you think we will be getting tattoos in heaven? Matt 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Jas_1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
1Jn_2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
All that is of this world will pass away so don't bother getting a tattoo, because when Jesus Comes, the saved will receive new bodies without spot or blemish. If you already have a few don't worry just make sure your heart is right.

Well if its upside down...
I was still thinking about this when I woke up!
If it was upside down, it STILL goes to what we were talking about. It's STILL what was in your heart that God cares about.
And if I saw someone with a cross upside down tattooed on their forehead, I would not think they were a satan worshipper. My mind would first go to that they were trying to get attention, ya know? Trying to shock for attention.

And that goes to caring what men think of us and wanting their approval rather than Gods approval.

I think it's hard being young today. I mean, it wasn't exactly easy when I was young either, but...I just think it looks harder to me today. I can't exactly explain why though. I'd have to think about how to vocalize why I think that...

Well its not hard but frustrating. I just have to say no a lot. You always get pressed into a corner by society and the way it judges and wants you to do bad things just to have a topic and excuse for crimes. Most people around my age are pretty much Godless.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

I know a lot of Christians who have Tattoos. Most of them had Tattoos before they got born again. I know a Baptist preacher who lives in North Carolina. He used to be in motorcycle gang so he has a couple of Tattoos. Anyway God is not gonna send you to hell for wearing a Tattoo. He is more concerned about the condition of your heart. As long as your thoughts and actions are pure, and you're doing the best you can to follow and obey God you'll make it to heaven. I will never get a Tattoo. It's very worldly. A lot of non-Christians get demonic Tattoos, like the name of their gang. Some primitive people get demonic Tattoos of the false god or spirit they worship. The Bible talks about not being like the world. Do not Love the World 1John2:15-17 verse 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16-17 For all that is in the world- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. Galatians5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Children of God are not supposed to walk, talk, dress, or act like the world. We are God's representatives on earth. We're supposed to act like Jesus. We live in the world, but not of the world. We're citizens of heaven. To God be the glory. All these Scriptures came from the New King James Version. Preacha24-7

There is nothing wrong with Tattoos other then the possibility of getting a disease from dirty needles.
