Everyone should have a good-and-true understanding of the reality of the world we live in, while at the same time being able to "be happy that it is Friday"...

You have to be able to balance the-big-picture with the-here-and-now.


In a way - and, to a certain degree - what 'Steve' is saying in the illustration is actually true. And, it is good for a Christian to be able to "see" this in the reality that we live in. However, it is also good for that same Christian to be able to "handle" the truth of the reality that we live in -- by trusting in God -- and working diligently to "make a difference" in whatever good ways are possible while "doing the work" that God has for us to do...

In other words, you have to be able to deal with it - seeing it as it truly is - while not allowing it to "freak you out" / "make you crazy" ( 'destabilize' you ). :cool:


Placing your belief-and-trust in God-and-Jesus will help with that. :D


Tip-Of-The-Day: Truly seeing the world as it really is will ( should ) almost automatically help increase your Faith -- because, it will help you to "let go of the world" and "seek after God" / "follow God" -- because, you will come to grips with the fact that there is nothing this world has to offer that is worth your while -- you will realize just how true the saying is:

"This world is not my home, I am just passing through..."

red pill: "you would rather know the truth, even if it hurts"

blue pill: "you would rather have complete comfort, not having to deal with the 'pain' of knowing the truth"

( in the context of the mind )

I only want the blue pills cuz that's my favorite color.. lol.. And everyone knows that anything blue belongs to Lady Blue. :cool:

In reality though, I'd rather take the red pill. I'd rather know the truth, and not be an ostrich and bury my head in the sand and refuse to hear the truth. :)
