'trumpist' is only an attempted insult insofar as it is insulting to be associated with that person...

if i was putting 'party over country' i wouldn't be refusing to vote for the republican nominee if the republican party nominates trump...

the problem right now is people like you who are putting 'trump uber alles'

If you vote democrat you are voting for a enslaved socialist outcome. That is sheer ignorance or as my mom used to say" Your cutting off your nose to spite your face"

actually if trump is the republican nominee then you will need to get used to saying 'president clinton' all over again...

and 'president clinton' and all the affronts to decency that come with her will be -because- of your actions in this primary season...

Forgive me but I don't believe you. You're only capable of throwing stones. I don't take you seriously. How can one be taken seriously when they are in a perpetual temper tantrum?

I did...my last name isn't sirk. It is something else. Don't mean to be rude but I don't know you. I'm fine with interacting with you on the forums for now.

How Ted Cruz made a mockery of Republicans' religious freedom arguments

The Republican Party, which has accused "liberal elites" of waging a "war on religion," last week dispatched its leading lights to the rhetorical battlefields in a religious war of its own making. On March 22, Americans awoke to the news of the horrific terrorist attacks in Brussels, which should have prompted calls for solidarity coupled with rational and effective law enforcement. But for Ted Cruz — who has made religious liberty a central focus of his campaign — it was instead an opportunity to propose an unconstitutional and dangerous program for targeting American Muslims. The two Republican presidential frontrunners are engaged in a sordid one-upmanship of who can more blatantly scapegoat ...Read more

Ted Cruz hailed, Sarah Palin flops at Wisc. GOP event - UPI.com

MILWAUKEE, April 2 (UPI) -- Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz was greeted with a standing ovation at a Milwaukee County GOP event Saturday and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who was standing in for front-runner Donald Trump, was met with steely silence three days ahead of the state's crucial primary vote. The Milwaukee County Republican Party Fish Fry proved fertile campaign ground for Cruz, who has become the vehicle for many establishment figures in their quest to deny Trump the party's nomination. Cruz used the event to make his first appearance with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, whose endorsement he earned earlier this week. The two men embraced on stage before Cruz made a speech ...Read more

Cruz turns to GOP convention rule to keep Kasich from nabbing nomination | Fox News

Sen. Ted Cruz is making the case that GOP presidential rival John Kasich and his pesky campaign cannot win the party nomination unless he has top showings in eight states -- an argument that could help Cruz in the upcoming Wisconsin primary and the GOP White House race. Cruz in recent interviews has repeatedly cited a Republican National Committee rule that states candidates can be nominated only if they've won the total delegate majority in eight or more states, as reported first by The Washington Post. The Texas senator is trailing front-runner Donald Trump by 273 delegates with about half of the country’s caucus-primary contests remaining. However, Cruz now leads Trump in the Tuesday’s Wisconsin ...Read more

Suit challenging Cruz eligibility reaches Supreme Court

What is apparently the first lawsuit to reach the U.S. Supreme Court challenging Ted Cruz’s eligibility to run for president has now been filed. But it’s not likely to go anywhere. A retired Utah lawyer, Walter Wagner, claims that Cruz does not meet the Constitution’s requirement that a president must be a “natural born” citizen. Cruz was born in Canada, and Wager contends that fails the natural born test. In mid-March, Wagner’s case crashed shortly after takeoff for the reason other lawsuits asserting the same claim have failed. He could not meet the test for showing why the candidacy would cause him any particular harm. Wagner said he had “a vested interest in insuring that all candidates for ...Read more

Ted Cruz tears into Bill O'Reilly for defending Donald Trump

Bill O'Reilly and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) butted heads over Donald Trump Thursday night, as Cruz repeatedly tore into Trump for his history of donating to Democrats and O'Reilly consistently came to Trump's defense. In Cruz's opinion, Trump's donations to candidates like Hillary Clinton translate to his support for those candidates' positions. "If you're fed up with the corruption of Washington, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are flip sides of the same coin," Cruz said, suggesting that Trump is still "responsible for the policies he's supported." O'Reilly, on the other hand, sees Trump's donations as more of a business ploy. "You know how they play the game," O'Reilly said, explaining that ...Read more
