I agree that as children of God we should not be hypocritical by not forgiving people of their transgressions when Christ has forgiven all of humanity (if they accept Him as their Saviour).

However, a repented child molester who served his time in prison can be forgiven but not allowed to babysit children. This doesn't mean society is "unforgiving" of the person. It just means we have to be prudent by not putting someone who can't be trusted in such a position he could relapse and stumble/cause harm to children.

I'm not comparing Trump's braggadocious infidelity to child molesting, but rather I'm comparing that society can forgive both types of sinners but exercise caution especially when considering the most powerful position in the world, the president of the United States. As I said before, if a candidate can't be trusted to be faithful to his/her own spouse, how could we objectively trust them to be faithful to the American people?
i would argue that a child molester should hang at the end of a rope until dead.

Well, if you are going to use that as your measure of trust with a president I suspect most of the presidents starting at #1 would be disqualified!

uh oh...

Daily Mail Asks Ted Cruz: Can You Just Say 'I've Always Been Faithful to My Wife'? - Breitbart

"But instead of making a blanket declaration that he has been faithful during the entirety of his 14-year marriage – a move that would effectively end the vicious news cycle – Cruz stood silently as campaign surrogate Carly Fiorina leapt in to intercept the question and change the subject."
Something isn't right with Cruz. Seems that God is using the wisdom of the world to reveal the fools.

so, I'm assuming that all of you Cruz bashers want Hillary in the White House? You slam and denigrate Trump, now Cruz... nobody else is left besides Hillary. Is that what you hope to accomplish?

I don't know if these allegations about Cruz are true. What I do know is that something has never felt right to me about Cruz. His over emphasizing his faith was the start of a downward spiral of confidence in me towards him. I think he is a smart guy. He says some things that are right on the money...for example his take on global cooling/warming/change.

Sen. Ted Cruz accused liberals of “anti-science zealotry” on global warming, genetically modified food labeling and biotechnology in Iowa on Saturday.
“The radical left loves attacking people as anti-science when anyone dares question their computer models on global warming,” Cruz told about a thousand activists during an agriculture summit on the state fairgrounds. “They scream, ‘you’re anti-science,’ when someone points out, for example, that in the last 17 years, satellite data shows there’s been no warming whatsoever.”

Trump and Bernie are the only ones that are trying to prevent corporate america from controlling the nation. The rest of them corporate america has already bought them.

Should be pretty obvious that Cruz doesn't stand a chance of getting the nomination, and IMO would never get elected president with his likely Dominionist leanings. So IMO his continued presence in the race greatly increases the likelihood of a brokered convention. Trump may not be the best, but he is the most likely to win the nomination and presidency.

is this like when you trumpists blatantly redefined the term 'establishment' so that it no longer included one of the biggest moneyed interests in republican politics?
