Are you are referring to post #4?
No, that might be one, but I have polluted the forum with Sanders' resume, both in the legislative branch as well as an activist. I'll make a thread when I have a little bit more time and consolidate it.

Dang, you're smart, Kid. Smarter than most of us here on this forum. I think some of us actually think being a "Christian" is a requirement for the office of POTUS.
It's not, but we do have more alternative choices than the two extremes.

The Constitutional requirements for being POTUS are laid out in the Constitution. I fully understand them.

Now, the REQUIREMENT to receive MY vote and MY support SURELY is influenced by a Candidates spiritual status and beliefs. IF there is a professing Christian out there that DOES NOT consider a Candidates spiritual status and beliefs BEFORE deciding to vote for and/or support them............then that gives me PAUSE.

I didn't know that comparing people's views/positions and deciding which one(s) were closest to Christian automatically made the latter person(s) Christian.
You are arguing against your own post? Hmm

I would say Trump Is at least disingenuous.

Wasn't he the one that said two Corinthians Instead of saying 2nd Corinthians?

honestly, the one who takes up the cause of the poor, the alien and the figurative 'samaritan', doesn't seek the praise of men and refuses to accept bribes is the one i think is closest to exhibiting 'christian values'

and he's Jewish by birth, not practicing. it's not a "claim" :)

Jewish former carpenter who cares for the poor, wants to drive out the bankers and freely provide healing & teaching to whosoever may come?
yes please.
don't tell me you've read the new testament, and this doesn't sound in the least bit familiar? lol
Guinness.. Thank you! I don't think I could have ever said it better myself! :D

I think DT has now realized that he in fact can get elected, and now he is trying his best to prevent that from happening...I mean...is there another way of explaining his outbursts in the media the last few days?

Having that said, the Republican mess has made me pretty sure I'm not going to vote for any of the Republican candidates (I wouldn't vote for DT if he was the only candidate in the world), so now I'm going to investigate what this Sanders is up to.

since he was a very vocal Hilary supporter in 2008, there has been the rumor going around that DT is actually a sneaky plot to make sure Clinton gets elected -- he's enough of a slick showman to say the right things in the right angry tone of voice to get plenty of GOP 'sheeple' to follow him, who have been well-prepped to receive such a person over the last 8 years of anti-Obama rhetoric put out by their media outlets, keeping them from unifying behind any serious candidate, but too ridiculous of a proposition to win any general election.

remember, this guy 8 years ago was a pro-choice democrat, who first backed Hilary & trashed the Bush administration, then was saying Obama was doing a fantastic job of revitalizing the economy in 2009-2010.
then he gets a job with Fox.
now he's a republican, nominally 'christian,' hates Obama & Hilary, and pro-life?

yeah OK..

luckily for him, the party he's running in now has a giant blank space in their collective memories covering anything pre-2010, lol.

in this scenario, the whole Megan Kelly fiasco is a staged 'argument' to distance his former employer and the first network to start touting him as a possible candidate from him during the campaign, and further break up the GOP voting block.

not saying this is what i am convinced of - just saying, i've heard people describing this whole campaign as a conspiracy more than once.

plausible?

lol i wonder if FOX makes more money with a democratic president they can run hate programs about, or a republican president they have to tone down their whole mood over?

just a thought :)

OK off to work, somebody's got to pay for all those takers!!

It is strange, though, but they say goldfish can recall information up to five months, so I guess recalling information up to six years would be within range for said electorate.

To Fox a Republican President would be bad for business, that is true, and Hillary would be their ultimate dream. They'd be eating her alive twice a week, always making sure, of course, that they didn't create any Hillary Gate...that would be throwing away good money. And the First Lady? Imagine what media could be doing having Mr Clinton venturing the White House on his idle time? It's too good not to become true. If Hillary gets elected I'm pretty sure Fox News will be HIRING:p

Hmm, well they have received RECORD RATINGS by giving birth to the Candidacy of a life long Democrat Liberal, and convincing the World that he is a True Conservative.

Question: But have you ever asked God for forgiveness?

Trump: I'm not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don't think so. If I do something wrong, I think I just try and make it right. I don't bring God into that picture. I don't.

How can a person claim to be a Christian when they don't bring God "into the picture" when asking for forgiveness? Was it not Christ's main purpose to atone for the sins of mankind so that we could be made clean again if we accept Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour? Can man "just try and make it right" and clean himself to enter the kingdom of God?

Sorry, this is not an April fools thread... I wish that it was.

(Note: This video was taken at the Family Leadership Summit in 2015... not in the 90s.)

1, obviously!

If the Christian fireman, who follows the Lord faithfully and lives by the Word of God, has no water, then he will pray to God and water will rain...Elijah did it.

But if you go for choice 2, then you should always know there's a catch...(that's why its good to have insurance).
Sorry friend, your talk is cheap. If your house was on fire you'd call the non-Christian with water. God can and does use non-Christains to help Christians.
