Well sin is a good topic there is a lot that can be discussed in that topic. Do you have any particular sin in mind to discuss?

Just like a sermon I heard last Sunday by a young pastor. Sin was swept under the carpet...it's becoming a taboo topic in this self loved generation.

Sin wasn't swept under the carpet, it has a place in discussion. In the discussion of liberty, and of being set free from sin's dominion under grace. Sin ought to be dealt with, but it is only through Jesus that the victory is found. Sure we can talk specific sins and the natural consequences, but I rather speak of righteousness and its natural consequences. I rather discuss spiritual solutions rather than practical ones, because too often the victory over sin is touted to be done through morality and not God, Himself (in His process of sanctification).

I had none of that in mind. But carry on with your agenda.

Instead of always going topical, why don't we look at a passage?

Here is a good one, and it even mentions sin or trespasses!

"Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,7 rooted and built up in him and established in the just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.8 See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.9 For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily,10 and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. 11 In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead. 13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14 by cancelling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. 15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him." Col 2:6-15

It sums up a lot about our Christian Faith!

What at speaks to you most strongly in this passage?

That would be a change in the Bible forum! lol

(Quite often "loveless arguing" would better describe it) :p
