For those who think that Yet never attacks people he has never met or knows what they teach or how they lead in Bible study, notice his response to me when I simply stated I was getting ready to go to bible study.

I made this statement to another on the forum and was not even talking to yet.

We all know that there are churches and pastors and many others that conduct themself contrary to Scripture, but to attack people and local churches that you have never met or attended and know nothing about and encouraging everyone to avoid all local churches is the work of Satan, not the work of God.

We should be encouraging those in bad situations to be prayerfully seeking a new place of service.
Come on that's not a real attack...he is just trying to make a point in a direct way...

An honest question for you Yet.
If you came to our Bible study tonight, what would want to do?
How would you "minister" to us?
How much time would you expect to have?

Yet is still avoiding this simple question.

Making a point by assuming he knows what takes place in our Bible study.
So you believe it is ok to say negative things about churches, pastors, or anyone else you know nothing about.
Is ok to base your assessment of others and statements about others who you do not know, based on your bad experense with a few?
Is that not lying about others?

Did you even listen to the point he was making? Yes he assumed you was taking a traditional view of bible study and gave you a little poke ...I don't know why? I know he loves folks ..I know he loves other believers . He just wants you guys to think about how you see your ministry to others and allow others to grow as well.

So you justify false accusations as long as your intent is to make a good point.

I disagree.

I have asked Yet several times to give us names and cities of churches and pastors that he knows are evil and he has never done so.

Romans 12:10 and 13 'Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love, in honor preferring one another.' The church is trained to prefer and honor the 'pastor' above all others. He is not preferring or honoring the little guy over himself. He has a title. Makes him preferred. If he just got done squeezing the tithe out of grandma, how is that preferring her over himself. He did, however, prefer her money.

Need proof? Someone new walks into your den, do you not say to them 'come meet our 'pastor''. He's preferred and honored above all. A division.

'Distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.' Most cannot afford to do this after dumping their tithes into the plate shoved under their nose.

Talk about quenching the Spirit.
Psalm 133:1 'Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in UNITY. (Shoulder to shoulder) ,' I personally would not know, for spiritual unity is missing in churchianity.

No never done that actually. He doesn't get paid but if people need some money they get it or food. There are a lot of those churches, go find one.

I did not see a accusation ..but a pointed question based on the assumption you agreed with the traditional ideas that Yet is speaking against ... and I believe Yet is trying to make a larger point than just pointing out bad pastors

I just want to see the the NT paradigm for the assembly restored. I would hope everyone feels the same.

If I am expected to just sit with the functions God gave me lying dormant, I can do that sitting in my easy chair. Show me a fellowship patterned after God's heart and I'll be there in a flash. It's that simple.

I don't know much churches in the USA, been to one from Larry Stockstill once.

Here's one:

How long has it been since you left that easy chair and searched for a congregation that you can serve in?

How long, Yet?

Will you respond to post #222?

I don't agree with the idea of all pastors being false prophets if that's where you are coming from. But a lot of things you say do line up with what some house church people believe. There are house churches that believe in open, mutually participatory meetings based on I Corinthians 14. They meet in homes. Many of them have a meal together. Some of them believe that the Lord's Supper was originally commemorated as an actual meal and practice that. Some believe in women speaking in church. Others don't. There are lots of house church websites, books, facebook forums, etc. You may be able to find one if you are interested. A lot of them don't have the one-man official 'pastor' role. Some of them have elders.

There are also Brethren churches (Plymouth Brethren).

If God had given you the "functions" you claim God would not have you sitting about idly. Basically you claim something that God is not confirming.

To date I've seen you blame everyone but yourself. You even dare to blame God for your frustration. Time to face up to the fact that you are not doing what God has determined for His children to do.

Before a man can lead he must learn to follow. You cannot simply barge in and take over an assembly of believers.

I don't know how to make these scriptures any clearer. I thought we all wanted God's perfect plan on this. If I was just throwing around a bunch of wild ideas off the cuff I'd deserve to be 'cast out' and rightly so. But I provide the word of God and get throttled for it. And the teaching is not obscure. It's plain, simple. What's going on?

Could it be that the majority 'will not endure sound doctrine' is actually true after all?

God has put in my heart a burning for His honor and truth. A powerful longing for the best for God's people, those that desire Him. I see so many saints suffering in ways that need not be because they find no deliverance within the walls of religion.

So I keep sounding the alarm of truth. Someone will hear and be set free. That'll be worth it all.

Could it be that you are not espousing sound doctrine? If God is not confirming your words is that not a witness?

1 Tim 4:1 ¶ Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Your doctrine is terrible and I am greatly concerned for your wellbeing.

Yet is still avoiding this simple question.

Im not sure if you have answered those scriptures yet.

I'd teach on those scriptures.

And this also. I don't read your posts because I know you disagree with those scriptures. I can't fight that.

So instead of doing like everyone else and constantly trying to hang fault on the messenger, how about doing something really, really novel on this site.....answer the scriptures I present. The rest of the bible scholars here dance around them or twist them to fit 'church dogma'.

What kind of answers are you looking for? The verses seem clear as to what they teach. I hope you not trying to perform what the Pharisees with Sadducees performed below .

Luk 7:32 They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.

The power and purpose of an automobile is lost if all mechanisms are disabled and shut down except for, let's say, the wind shield wipers. That car is doomed to the junkyard. It's useless. Its full purpose has been lost and thus discarded.
A dumb analogy? I suppose. But that's the condition of paraplegia when a nerve is damaged shutting down movement of the lower extremities. The full body mobility is gone. That's the 'church'. The full purpose of function has been hampered and shut down for 1700 years now. The nerve center has been cut and disregarded by men with self interests and agendas. Who love the upper seat of Moses. Who love the adoration in the market place.

Jesus the Vine, the life line, the nerve center, has been severed from we the branches in the context of 'body life', the scriptural assembling of ourselves together has been forsaken. Hebrews 10:25
Christ has a body, we the people. We are connected to one another in so much as the Spirit flows in and through us one unto another in spiritual ministry. This is not allowed. This has been left in the dust bin of history in favor of the one man show and paying audience construct.
Like a movie theater you buy your ticket, grab a seat and sit while being entertained.

Christians cling tenaciously to this system thinking they're doing God a favor, thinking this is the 'church' Christ suffered hell on the cross for though not a pinch of scriptural evidence can be garnered to support it.

So the non functional body sits in a wheel chair quietly while the 'wind shield wipers' keep plugging along.

The life blood of the body missing, for blood doesn't flow through non movable parts, and most of the dry parts have no clue they are bloodless. Disconnected from the nerve center, from the Head in favor of another head.

Now go back and re-read the scriptures submitted.

Yet is far too wise for you guys ... :)

You may be stretching it a bit bro..lol. I just hunger for that full expression of the Spirit of God flowing through the body of Christ as these verses demonstrate.

I long to see Christ as Head of His assembly of 'called out ones', ekklesia. That honor and position restored to their rightful Owner.

Would serve all believers well to take the following scripture seriously and to the heart. Some things have not changed.

Amos 5:21

'I hate, I despise your religious festivals, your ASSEMBLIES are a STENCH to Me.' NIV

'I hate all your show and pretense, the hypocrisy of your religious festivals and solemn assemblies.' NLT

'I absolutely despise your festivals! I get NO pleasure from your religious assemblies.' NET

Wait, wait, wait! This is not Yet talking, this is God talking. Listen up!

'I hate, and have REJECTED YOUR FESTIVALS, and I WILL NOT receive the odour of your assemblies'. Douay, Rheims

'I hate, I despise your feasts, and I can't stand your solemn assembles.' World English

In modern terms:

'I can't stand your religious meetings. I'm fed up with your conferences and conventions.

I want nothing to do with your religious projects. Your pretentious slogans and goals.

Im sick of your fund-raising schemes. Your public relations and image making.

Ive had all that I can take of your noisy arrogant music. When was the last time you sang to Me?

Do do you know what I want? I want justice. Oceans of it.

I want fairness. Rivers of it. That's what I want. That's ALL I want'. The Message.

I love you all! Please pray about this. The life of the ecclesia depends on our getting this right.

May I add this. It's out of His great love for us, as His people, that He has given us His word. Some of that word can be harsh, as you well know, but necessary, for He is making up His jewels, Mal. 3:17, an ekklesia without spot or blemish, Ephesians 5:27.

'My people perish (not coming into the fullness of Christ) for a lack of knowledge(of the word of God), Hosea 4:6, 'Ever learning (conferences, sermons, bible studies, Sunday school, books, cd's, seminars, conventions, evangelistic meetings, programs, programs, and more programs) but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth (of His order and eternal plan for His corporate body in the context of the assembly according to said scriptures heading this thread) 2Tim. 3:7

Therefore, 'judgment must begin with the house of God', 1Peter 4:17.

In a word, God is going to have to shake things up, even as He did an abundance of times with Israel.

God is coming back for a remnant, yet still questions us personally 'Verily will I find any faith when I return?' Luke 18:8

Remember now. There's a truck load of scripture warning all of us about a great apostasy in the last hour. 1John 2:18 and 2Thess. 2:3
We'd all do well to re-think our position. Each one of us needs to ask, 'Could it be possible that my church is not aligned with the chapters Yet is talking about?'

'Could Acts 20 be true that the elders are the pastors(plural), and they need to 'get a job' and quit sponging off of grandma and the struggling?'

Could Jesus be speaking the truth in Matt.23 after all, that wearing a religious title does cause arrogance and division and is a sin?'

'And was Jesus really telling us the truth when He said in Matt.20 that as far as the world's top down authority structure goes 'it shall NOT be so among you?'

'Could it even possibly be true that 'every member' has not just a right, but a duty to share their gifted ministry in the open gathering?'

You need to answer these questions. You need to open your bible and examine these things and see if your 'church' even comes close to God's clear dictates.

Love motivates me to exhort, correct, encourage, and yes, even rebuke the ecclesia in this 'last hour'. 2Tim 4:2

Take eye salve so that you might be able to see. Rev. 3:18

I was blind to the biblical truths on this for more years than I care to admit. Please don't take as long as I did to finally 'get it'. I'm a slow learner, I kid you not. Wish I could go back and do it all over again with the knowledge God has since given me. But I guess God has a plan. Be free. Be blessed. 'Be not entangled again with a yoke of bondage.' Galatians 5:1
