JesusLives,

Just wanted to pop in and ask how Tourist's new job is going? I hope you're both happier with the change.

I had read a while back that he now works nights and you were having some problems sleeping during the day? I was wondering if you'd looked at any light-blocking window shades for your room. I know they sell them at places that sell housewares like Bed Bath and Beyond and I don't think they're all that expensive.

One of my relatives used to have a shade like that in his room and it made the place as dark as a monastery...

Anyway, hope you're both doing well!

Um. Some speech bubble keeps popping up from Mike (some supposedly Asian dude who thinks he's a real person). He wants to speak briefly with me. I can't close his bubble or move it out of the way. Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

On CC? That sounds interesting. (Sounds like you are trying to pop his bubble)

Yes. He specifically says he's from Christian Chat. I'm definitely trying to burst his bubble.

What Blond wants to know is how did the cat turn around in that box to face out?
The dog wanted to get the mailman bad enough, that he is now working with the cat. He stuffed the cat in that way. :p

Did you OPEN a PM from this guy, or someone you didn't know? This is how they may be getting in........

Its best to avoid all Asian dudes named Mike...or Mikey.
They are all odd.

Wait a minute.......?

Don't rub it in. :p I still have 6 years, 1 month and 2 weeks to go! :)
I used to count down from the 6 year mark I got down to the 3 yearish mark and they invited me to leave with a severance package...so instead of 61 I left at 58... Have not missed it one little bit...the people but not the work.. Now almost 3 years later lots of them are not in the same area so I don't even care so much about the people cause so many are new and I don't know them... I am probably not even a memory over there now... And I don't care.....lol

It's fun being a bum...

Thanks for asking..... It is a much better and more challenging job for Tourist and he is in training now and is on a 3-11 shift and they have not told him when he will go to 11-7 shift yet.... We just had new countertops put in the kitchen and a new sink so I am going to use the cardboard box the sink came in and duct tape it to one of the sliding glass doors upstairs to block the light....and I think that will help to make it much darker in the bedroom to sleep.... Yes, I'm cheap that way....lol

We are doing well, just a little stress from the start of a new job and the kitchen tore up and all over the place since I had to clear out the cabinets before the new countertops could go on.... of course once the plumber turned off the water and new sink was installed and water turned back on now the dishwasher isn't working...Oh, dear....must get a new dishwasher...what a shame....it's only money right? lol Every time one remodels it's like opening a can of worm....you get one thing fixed and another one breaks down.....hence retails survival.....lol

It was a layoff and one of my co-workers a very sweet younger girl was crying as they were escorting me out of the building and I said to her..."Sweetie don't cry for me I'm happy about this... You are still here." Me and another guy named Alex were so happy to leave...I had been there 25 years and the thrill was gone... To say I was over it is an understatement.....lol

I would prefer an early out/leave early with full retirement, but that is very rare these days.
