If there is something your wife knows how to make she can sell on Etsy. I am currently looking into making earrings and have been watching videos on youtube and reading about the different methods, like beading, or wire bending, etc. I want to pick something definite and go for it. I worked with a girl who was making nose rings and selling on Etsy and she began making so much that she quit her full time job, and has branched out into other types of jewelry. I went to a craft show recently and a lady in one of the booths sells on Etsy and says she does pretty good, not hundreds a month but she says it is worth it. Of course no matter what you would decide to make there are hundreds of others making it, so you would want to find the thing that is unique to your item. It's not a get rich scheme but for me if I made an extra $100-200 a month it would be wonderful. I work full time so I would have to do something that doesn't require hours for one item.
