Well yeah, I didn't think of that one.
Haha that was just a randomly inserted post I made that fell perfectly into place following yours... going back to how things seem to cost more when they remove ingredients from the product, like when sugar costs spiked, and everything went up in price, and then sugar prices came back down, but did the product prices follow suit? Not in every case. They found out we will pay through the nose for our goodies. Well, some people will. Things like soda pop I have never been a fan of anyways, there is a big sugar intake for some.

I don't know what vegans have against raw milk. It saved my uncle's body and possibly his life.
Vegans just don't eat anything that comes from an animal. Not even honey :p

No actually, yours are just frustrating. Hers is definitely more offensive. :/ I know satan is trying to destroy us any way he can, I'm not stupid. Brain damaged, yes. Stupid, nope..lol.. God may have created this world, but satan is lord and master of it. :/ Now please, stop the algae diet talk, to me at least. Maybe someone else is brave enough to go off their meds and try it. I'm not. My last grand mal seizure was in 1997. I don't care to start having them again, because I took the word of someone who isn't a doctor but recommended a diet to me, only to possibly have it not work for me and harm me more than it helps..

Soooo, you with all you're eating good stuff? I guess I can't talk you into octopus on your seaweed? (Trust me enough to look at the link. It's funny! lol)

I find it amazing that once one starts eating really well that desire for such things as cheesecake vanish like mist, naturally .... it seems mysterious to me!
Yeah, it surprised me. I still love some of those things, but I don't "crave" them. And when I do eat them, I can be happy with smaller portions.

Stop dairy and sugar products, and you will have a surplus of money to spend on anything.

I don't eat alot of sugar. No sugar in salads. lol.. And I only eat yogurt. I don't like, or drink, milk..

This reminds me of when I started taking good vitamins many years ago, not the crap like Centrum :p The vitamin B smell at first used to literally make me almost retch, but after a while, when I would open the container, the smell would cause me to salivate. LOL. Our bodies are smart :)

Edited to amend wretch to retch LOL :)

BTW, if anyone here frequents Starbucks, (and several places like that) they have no business saying they can't afford to eat better.
I know this is kind of off topic but I personally go out of my way to avoid starbucks. Its solely based on who I am in Christ. Starbucks bats for the enemy.

Yes I too was surprised. Smaller portions indeed ... and doesn't it taste so much better when you haven't had it in a while? It goes from being a staple food to a real treat. :)

>>I am responding to the OP. I havent read the 7 pages of input.

I adhere to the studies by christian brain scientists that have said aprox 15% of diagnosed mental illness patients need medication. The other 85% need deliverance. Schizophrenia(especially) is a spiritual matter.
(I'm responding only to you.)
Really? They separated the study between the Christian brian scientists and the other brain scientists? I'd honestly like to see how they did just that part. (What were the criteria to determine any given scientist is a Christian?) And I'd like to see that because 80% of Americans claim they're Christians, but that can mean so many different things, so I figure if they did a study to determine what beliefs the scientists had, I'd love to see what the criteria they had to pass to fit into the next part of the study.

Actually I have been hunting for a good way to get the vitamin b complex... being a woman I figure it's important for me. I've scoured the cereal shelves only to find that B6 is rarely present, and B12 is almost never present ... and what about the rest of the B's??? Are there other B's? What's a good way to get B's without vitamins?

One of the worlds oldest women is 112 yrs old. For 95 of those years she smoked 30 cigarettes a day .. and still does. Japan and Greece have the highest adult smoking rates in the world .. yet have the lowest incidence of lung cancer. The five countries with the lowest adult smoking rates in the world have the highest rates of lung cancer. There are more carcinogens in everyday margarine (hydrogenated oil) than there is in cigarettes. Moral of the story ? Quit eating margarine and light up a camel :p
When George Burns turned 100 someone asked him the secret to his long life. (After all, can you picture him without a cigar in one hand and a cocktail in the other?) His answer sums it up for me, "Get to 99 and then be very, very careful."

Joseph ... I have always been a one meal a day kind of person ... some have said this is bad for me ... what do you think???
It is not bad for you. But some of that answer is qualified by your needs on any given day.
I personally did that for over a year. But I was rail thin.
Before I became a vegan which was when I was 33, I was lifting weights and even entered a few novice body building contests. I am only 5'9', but I weighed about 190-ish at the time.
So when I became vegan, I lost a lot of weight, and becuause of that and my previous experience with really carrying to much weight for my frame, i decided to see what the manipulation of weight would have on my body, my blood test levels, and my detox/overall health.
So I did the once a day meal thing.
The best time to eat, if one does that is around noon to 2pm.
The benefits are that you are conserving an amazing amount of energy re digestion. The average American uses about 60% to 70% of available energy to digest their meals, Vegans and raw foodists use around the 20% to 35% range.
That is significant on that the body does not waste that energy. It goes into repair and healing and detox. Speaking of which, on one meal a day, you will detox, assuming your not eating about 2,000 calories at that meal, and that your not eating a lot of animal products and starches and processed and fired foods and the like.
The down side is your going to be very skinny. Thank God I had gotten over my physical insecurities at that point, or I never could have done it. And you may get tired at times.
And socially, there are a lot of ramifications. If one has a active life, with people in it, it is hard to go out to diner and not eat.
But maybe try it for a few days or a week, and see how you feel and if you think you may want to intermittently do it.

It causes a lowered immune system, allergies, and can cause a lining of grey colored mucus on the stomach walls that is not healthy for digestion or the immune system.

Getting in the habit of reading ALL ingredient labels will soon be an eye opener.

There is B1, B2 and B3, thiamine, riboflavin, and niacin. They say the Bs are present in nuts and greens, but you would have to eat an awful lot to get the amount the bottled kind provide. There are other Bs as well, B6 is great for reducing swelling, and other things, B12 is mostly in meats, cyancobalamin, that is from memory, which I need ginkgo biloba for LOL :)
