Hello there!
I've been in 4 different relationships up until now and non of them has satisfied my soul.
I think Jesus alone is fit.. for us. The real helper.
And we're just being made into his likeness. Not ready yet. The 7th day is yet to come, where everything is very good!
'Cause we aren't even good, right??

Hi levan welcome to CC. Marriage is a gift from God but not everyone is entitled to this gift because God gives different gifts to others like gift of celibacy. But keep praying if it is really what you want. God hears our prayers and He promised to provide for our needs and desires if they bring glory to Him.

Maybe there are other things in your life that God wants you to focus on first?

Life isn't predominantly about getting married (although many people who visit this site seem to think so)

Jesus also said that when the regeneration will take place, people will become like the angels of God, and they will neither marry nor be given in marriage. -Matthew 20:30
Human Marriage is a sign. .not a substance. Therefore, it won't be continued when the substance, Jesus, The real helper will appear.
But until the regeneration, if we're not born as eunuchs, it cannot be a gift. It will be very hard.

we all like to think that God wants us to do what we want to do. It doesn't always mean we are correct.

Our main "job" is to focus on God (oh how we fail, whether we date / marry or not)

We already filled the earth (and destroyed it in the process)

How about DON'T be fruitful and multiply? There's too many people on earth already.. :/ Singleness is a great gift..embrace it until God sends you someone..

Having a wife and raising children is a tremendous responsibility requiring hard work and sacrifice. There is more to a relationship than simply procreating. Before you take on a wife you will need much prayer and reflection and preparation. Use your time wisely while you are still young and single and try to enjoy these carefree days as well because they are not going to last.

O come on people!
Children love to play, and they play without getting a reward or money for it.
Their playing is hard work & sacrifice too, they give all of their might & heart & energy to the game,
And Jesus called us to be like them.

I think it's really lame to stay single when you can get married & have dominion over the earth.
God made all these things for us. Why all these frightened people??

It is not about being frightened, it is about being content with what you have at the moment

I don't need dominion of the earth (as a matter of fact, I think having it would make me very UNhappy)
