you are "flat" wrong again -- i in fact built and observed such a pendulum for my thesis in physics, and it precessed in exactly the way that a rotating, spherical earth model predicted it should, at my latitude, with great precision.
"flat earth" and "stationary earth" models cannot explain this readily observed and repeatable phemomena.

just saying "no it has no application" doesn't make it go away. saying "it is not observable" does not make the millions of actual observations disappear.
i think it's something you should address, if you want anyone to take you seriously..
this is a profoundly ignorant statement from someone who thinks he is teaching us how the universe works. at least you're not the one who claim that you have an "exceedingly great knowledge and understanding of physics" i guess..
the atmosphere and the truck are all moving together.
if it worked the way you describe it, then you should verify what you are saying like this:
get in a car and drive west or east at 70mph.
hold your phone out, and drop it.
if physics worked the way you're describing it, your phone should fly into the windshield or rear window at 70mph and shatter into many pieces.
guess why it doesn't?
that's exactly the same reason that we don't notice the speed of the earth's rotation while we are on it.
now, if the truck accelerated while you were in the air ((or if the earth's rotation accelerated)) this would be a different story.

the plane & the atmosphere the plane is in are all rotating along with the whole earth. through space. there's nothing in space to create resistance/friction to counteract this rotation -- so it's not like sticking your hand out a car window. no one "feels" the motion -- but it can be observed through something in free-fall, like a pendulum
i'm not posting replies for Spherical's sake -- we're done with him. this whole theory was debunked back on page 2, and got repeatedly debunked for 9 or 10 more pages afterwards. actually it's been brought up (probably by Spherical under different usernames, who were subsequently banned for one reason or other) several times over the years i've been here. it's been thoroughly debunked every time, and the people who bring it up are always the same -- willfully blind, ignoring all the counterarguments, willfully ignorant, just pushing their little god... because this idea is a god to them. he's not here to talk about Christ at all. just look at his post history.

because wind is motion of the air relative to the movement of the entire earth relative to a stationary frame of reference. wind is not the rotation of the whole earth on its axis.
