Did you pray for Mary to intercede to Jesus for your false allegation as well?
Absolutely not.

Now, I'm wondering if it was Martin Luther rather than Catholicism.

Just call me scarecrow.

Im pretty sure I saw crap as well. The niv is not a horrible translation either. Me thinks Mitspa needs a little education into how the different translations came about and what their purpose is.
Lets see I spent day and night for many years to study the Greek and the translations ...so why dont you educate me Sirk...this should be fun :)

The purpose of simple not accurate translations is to have an idea what's it about anyway. My brother recently used a horribly bad translation and had a aha moment. Had them a few times too when I read the Book we call it, worst translation ever but good simple language.

The purpose of translating Gods Word..should be to know what God said and to establish eternal truth and sound doctrine in the church... If some folks can read and understand parts of the NIV in a way that helps them...that's good ...but it is not accurate to establish doctrinal issues.

All Christians are the same spirit. When you call people of other denominations morons or joke about it, it's basically a sin.

God's church is a living church. It isn't made of bricks, gold, jewels, idols of Mary or gargoyles, marble, art or stained glass.

Every Christian is like a stone in the church, and Christ is the head (stone).

Matthew 21:42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Even though people of different denominations think the others are heretics, it really doesn't matter because only God can change a person's heart. We aren't judges and don't have the same thoughts, perspective or plan that God does. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to teach Catholics about the things they do which are contrary to God's Word, but at the end of the day they've also been given the gift of knowledge of Christ, and I'm not going to say they aren't saved because of it.

You know that in God's Word, homosexuals won't inherit the kingdom, yes? Well the gay agenda counts for nothing.

It doesn't matter if people pressure you to accept them, it's what God says that's important. This is why we are set apart from the world, we aren't supposed to go along with their perversions. You don't have to be rude to other Christians who call you mean-spirited if you don't condone homosexuals in your local church or community.

Everyone can repent, of homosexuality, fornication or adultery. God works miracles.

Well, I can't really say that was off topic in this thread. It did kind of make a point. Didn't it? Someone said on here that we should read our own post and see if we thought Jesus would be pleased with them. I wonder if you think Jesus was pleased with that, and keep in mind that was posted to a 16 year old girl.

Should I feel addressed now?
