I have to make a survey. Question is "what place/country would you like to visit and why?"
Thanks for helping me ;)

Israel. The why is to see the apple of God's eye.

Good luck with your project!

I would most like to visit Guyana. It is a beautiful country, and someone I know and love grew up there.

The only place I've thought of visiting recently is Nome, Alaska, because it is so far north.

Holy land to take a walk where Jesus once walked. Paris to have lunch. Hawaii to learn surfing and meet the sharks. Hollywood to see the stars. Hongkong to go shopping. New york just to satisfy my curiosity. Japan to enjoy the scenery.

Just one?

It's a toss up then.

I would love to go to the Galapagos Islands to meet George and his friends. (The huge turtles, although, last I heard, George was the last of his kind. I don't dare check to see if he's died, because he was very old.) I could also spend days just watching the sea iguanas. Don't put me on a tour. Just let me spend as much time as I want watching the reptiles.

And then there is Australia. I don't want to do the touristy thing there either. Drop me off in the outback, and make sure you cleared it of all poisonous critters first. But I would love to spend a few months with a bushman to teach me how to live like that. And I'd like day camp for a few months with aborigines, but I must insist on having real food. I don't care if I could live on grubs and fungi. I just don't want to. (Which probably kills the reason to spend time with them. lol)

Ireland :) because it looks so beautiful and fresh. I'd love to just drive around the countryside, drinking it in.

Good luck on your school project!

Australia or New Zealand (out in the wild... with someone who can keep me out of trouble)
Why?... well, it's different from the kind of places I've been so far

I also want to see more of the Scottish isles
Why? Because I love Scotland (cliffs, castles, churches, the language.... )

and I want to visit Angkor Wat, Cambodia
Why? Because it looks really cool (again, I think I need someone with me to keep me out of trouble) :p

I would like to visit Amsterdam/Holland because it seems like a really pretty place which is both old-fashioned, but modern and clean at the same time.

I used to want to visit europe but it seems like the attitude of the people there has become much too liberal over the years for my tastes and the economy there is hurting badly so there is probably a lot of crime and poverty. I'm not saying I don't feel for them, just that I don't prefer to visit there at the moment...

Well.... "Europe" isn't one single country with one single way of doing things. We're not states like USA :p
It's mostly the ones that joined the EU that got in trouble :(

I would like to go to Australia. It is my dream vacation. Why??? Beyond my love for Koala Bears, I wish to dive in the the great barrier reef, trail through the outback, visit the Sydney Opera House and listen to all the men talking in their accent!
