In no way am I a tough guy for doing what I did nor am I proud of it, but . . .

about two years ago a woman blatantly cut me off then took issue with my driving too close behind her. She got out of her car and started yelling and cursing at me. I told her to get back in her car or I was going to kick her rear end the same way I'd kick a man's.

A little dose of reality is good medicine for folks when needed.
When a young guy started to yell and curse while I could ride there with my bike, they always yell I have to go away which I got used to and don't respond, but this time since he cursed and called me names I yelled: SHUT UP!!!!! Hahahahaha he did shut up. I can yell too. What a wonderful world full of knights and princesses.

Funny thing, when she got back in her car I looked up and saw a cop about 50 yards up the street standing outside his patrol car. He saw what transpired and did not intervene.

Stunt? What stunt?

I defended myself without having to get physical. That's no stunt; that's honorable.

Reminds me of that joke.

A man was being tailgated by a stressed out woman on a busy boulevard. Suddenly, the light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten The red light by accelerating through the intersection.*

The tailgating woman was furious and honked her horn, screaming in frustration as she missed her chance to get through the intersection, dropping her cell phone and makeup.

As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched, finger printed, photographed, and placed in a holding cell. After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.

He said, “I’m very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the ‘What Would Jesus Do’ bumper sticker, the ‘Choose Life’ license plate holder, the ‘Follow Me to Sunday-School’ bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk, Naturally… I assumed you had stolen the car.”

If you cut me off, yell and curse at me, then try to lay down the law, you're dead. That's reality.

I didn't say that, I was simply addressing your behavior:) But then again, 15 years on the streets being a law enforcement officer makes me pretty sure you wouldn't be addressing me like that, Sir:).

Yes that's very stupid. I saw one guy beat up a woman totally who did that. It was evil but she started. They think any guy will just listen to them. My ex got a hit in his face now and then by his ex and he never hit women, but in the end he got so furious he hit her a bit harder I'm afraid and then they call the police.

A law abiding "law enforcement officer" would not act in the manner that Utah described which btw a lady wouldnt act that way either!

I know it is only a minority of them, but it is enough, and seems to be more then when I was younger; but whatever happened to he attitude that law enforcement was supposed to be and example, rather then walking around like they are special and exceptions to the rules?

Being a law enforcer on the streets these days is mostly a question of staying alive.

I just can't stand people barking at me. Can you?;)
The woman was acting like a belligerent crazy person. It appears to me that you didnt read the entire input from Utah otherwise you would not respond as you did

I can't tell you how many times I see them park at hydrants when there is a spot 2 cars away, only the hydrant is closer. to were they want to have lunch. And trust me, it can't be police business all the time I see it done.
Or they just block a street with there cars to have have a conversation that you know is not police business. And even if it is only for a minute, they have a line of sometimes 10 cars behind them?
Or how if they are questioned, legit sincere respectful questions about something, they have a attitude in the way they respond, like people can't even ask them something?
Of course I am not referring to you S., or most police. Many are great humble people, who risk their lives everyday. The job is not easy. . But also to many, even if it is only 8% or 10%, or whatever percentage, are abusing their power.
