The thread should somehow be locked for reference but for sure they may have a better reason in the case of deletion.

The FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT THREAD and the JOHN 3:16 thread were deleted by the mods I believe. They both had irrefutable evidence of who is teaching damnable heresy on this site!

When Peter said to the whole group of Jews in Acts 2:38...repent and be baptized.....there must have been many of them there that were already baptized by John because it seems that only the Pharisees/Sadducees and scribes didn't get water baptized by John. So, that throws a whole other wrench into the mix here.
There are so many holes in this false teaching about needing to be water baptized in order to receive remission of sins and the regeneration for the Holy Spirit.
This completely violates all the clear, multiple scriptures to believe on Christ to be saved. Look at Acts 10:43-48 - clearly they were saved first and had already received the Holy Spirit - which is being born-again by the Spirit and being baptized into the body of Christ...then they were water baptized.

Maybe they deleted it to protect the young in the faith viewers from being influenced by the false teaching?
Yeah they probably deleted it because they werent too edifying.

I hear ya'. I went back and looked for some posts where a certain poster was calling grace believers - satanic, lawless heretics, lovers of sin and even changed my name to greasy-gracist777 and the mods had deleted those posts out. I was glad really when I thought about it because I wouldn't want a young believer in the Lord to see the evil malicious slanderous garbage like that.
There wasnt so much of that on those threads, but more of what might be considered the other side of things
Yes..I was talking about in other older threads in my case. I think the water regenerationists were spoken of too harshly in some cases by name calling by us on the other side. I'm sorry if anyone offended you. Forgive us if we have done this to you.
I don't believe there needs to be any derogatory name-calling in order to dispute false beliefs and to expose what is really being said that contradicts belief in Christ's finished work for our salvation which is by grace through faith only.

would be nice for a mod to check in and say why. I'd imagine it has something to do with them having to correct hermit about adding to the Word by saying there's more evidence of the thief on the cross being water baptized then not.

To be fair, he did provide scripture about how "everyone in that region" had been coming out to be baptized by John, so he simply said that it is highly possible that the thief had been one of those that had done that.
He went out of his way to say that it was only an assumption on his part, and that there was NO way that any of us would ever know. He stated that several times.
He never stated it as a fact, or even a likely fact, just that it was a possibility, based on that scripture.

It's really quite possible. Scripture says that the entire region went out to be baptized by John
Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins. Matthew 3:5-6
And Jesus' disciples baptized more people than John did.
When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, John 4:1
As you can see, they still attest to it.. Sad really. They've made their own gospel.

What do you think of my #4 post in this thread about John's baptism and how it relates to "Being regenerated" and receiving the remission of sins by water baptism after Christ's death and resurrection.
The disciples would have to have been water baptized AFTER Christ's death and resurrection in order to receive this "transfer of the remission of sins and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit " when people are water baptized as some teach.

I really dont know what a "water regerationalist" (and I'm sure you will try to enlighten me) but Im not interested in learning of the labels people put others to demonize them forquoting a verse they might believe (but the other does not)
Either way Im not interested in dicussing that in particular but you are most certainly forgiven if you called me any names. The names arent really what bothers me, but maybe thats because I dont understand any of the slangs. So it goes over my head anyway.

Personally, i get the feeling that the current resistance on this site to the truth - the scriptures that point to faith going absolutely hand in hand with just action - are an effort of the adversary and the spiritual children of the adversary to A) justify the fact that they don't want the wealthy to feel convicted about not taking care of the poor in our society properly (it's greed) and B) to try to lead those who may not be firm in their faith yet off course.
