I need help knowing where to go (physically go, because I don't want to do this online) to buy two things -- preferably at the same store. Three things, if you're really knowledgable about your stores.

Oh, and it has to be a store located in the Midlantic region of the US, just to make it even harder.

I need:
1. A container I can put coffee in and it won't spill if the container ends up on its side. (Our Thermos spilled, but it's also 20 years old.)
2. Small microwavable containers you can eat out of that holds 1/2 a cup to a cup of thick soup (and also doesn't spill on its side.) And to be picky, storage containers aren't necessarily microwavable and it's important the plastic doesn't leech into the soup/stew.
3. Stickers that will stay on glass spice jars. (Helpful hint -- address labels for inkjets or laser jets do NOT stick on glass jars.) This one isn't as important as the other two.

So, does anyone know where to go to get ll of this in one-stop shopping style? Apparently, a chain drug store isn't cutting it.

What became of one-stop stores?

Well, I don't know much about US stores, but I knot that the product Tupperware tends to be quite watertight.
According to google, Walmart has Tupperware products. I don't know how many varieties though.
...and I dunno if they have stickers

I always do that when I need something. I walk into a shop and say: do you have this? No. Oh do you know where they sell it?

i almost never shop in actual stores anymore... too many years of 'i can't leave the house'.

BUT-- regarding the containers, if you see Lock & Lock, highly recommend. there are other manufacturers making containers with a food grade silicone seal, but we've had lots of 'em and the L & L hold up well. they're BPA free, etc, and i've dropped one full of tomato sauce and nary a drop spilled.

i wish you well. :)

See now? I'm old enough to still think Tupperware requires going to a party. (Big thing among the moms when I was young. lol)

Probably Walmart. That's what I feared. (Our city Walmart looks like the Christmas season on normal weekdays.) Thanks.

Malls got too big. Our local should-see mall is a mile long. That's without ever going into a store to do more walking.

Delivery when shopping online requires someone to be here. The last three times I Amazon-primed they told me two-days, which meant 1, 2, or 3 days, and then 10 days later, if I wasn't paying attention to where the item was being shipped from. And it's anywhere between 10 AM - 6 PM. Visit John is 2-3 hours per day. Waiting around here for a package that may or may not come drives me nuts(ier.)

I'd rather get-in-get-out-no-paperwork it with no more than 1 hour doing it all. Scary part, for everything but shopping for these kind of things, I can do that now. I can even go grocery shopping -- including travel time, unpacking, and put-away in less than an hour. lol

I just hope when John gets home it's like me telling him how to clean fish. I taught him how, all the while telling I didn't know how. (I sure hope he doesn't expect me to stay this quick. It's against my nature.)

But Lock-and-lock. Good heads up. Thanks. (I'm still stuck on Tupperware and Glad. lol)

the difference between urban and rural living? when i order from Amazon, it's always here in two days (er, except occasionally when it's here in one? lol)

but if no one's home, they just leave the package in the breezeway. it's a cul-de-sac in the middle of nowhere, with just four other houses and we know all our neighbors. once a laptop was delivered next door and Nancy the neighbor was just about having an anxiety attack wanting to get it to us ASAP. :eek: haha

good 'luck' to you. (though i don't believe in luck; i believe in God's Providence. :))
