I do and don't consider myself any denomination, its just funny how so much arguing is done over what's the correct church and what isn't, when Church is when 2 or more gather in His name

LOL lettuce be respectful geniusXD
I don't really put myself in any denomination for several reasons 1 I don't like how denominations separates the body of Christ and makes it attacks itself if a kingdom is against itself how can it stand?
2 I don't fully fit in any one denomination my views and beliefs are are not able to to fit into a single denomination and as i grow and mature in Christ and as a person my views and beliefs change

3 I am simply his child a seeker of his heart

Reading about that now... They have their own record label??? That's pretty boss. I should check it out.
Actually, the Vineyard was started by a man who owned the Righteous Brother's franchise, and arranged for them, sometimes playing clarinet and keyboard for them..... And, in the early days, about a half-dozen members (or more) were Rock musicians. Yeah, we're kind of into music.

Nice. Lol. How many people are in your Church you go to? Is it like a concert every Sunday? And... do you play?

We were about 250. But because of, shall we say... a lack of appreciation of some "doctrinal issues", we are now down to about 100. No, it is nothing like a concert. Our worship group is usually 7 people. Small, but loud. No, I don't play with them. I'm 71, and most of them are 30 or under.

That just means you've had a longer time to practice. Haha. I should familiarize myself with the Church though, I noticed there are about 3 in my area... Itd be interesting to network with some being a musician myself

Three? Really? That is extremely rare. Usually they are seldom closer than 50 miles to one another. Maybe some are just using the word, "vineyard", in their name... it's fairly common.

I take that back... There are 3 of which I could go to... All in a triangle pattern, no less than an hour and a half to maybe 3 hours away. Got confused by the map. Whoops

I'm Charismatic.

My preferred type of church is one where the pastor does an exegesis of a passage of Scripture.

I prefer that over the "sermons" where the pastor takes 2 verses from one book of the Bible, 4 verses from a second book of the Bible, 1 verse from a third book of the Bible, and 1/2 a verse from a fourth book of the Bible and tries to turn his "sermon" into a meaningful message.

I would agree. And thanks for the new vocab word! Exegesis
