Brother Bowman,

Satan is bound in Rev 20:2, he is called the "dragon".

The dragon has 7 heads and 10 horns Rev 12:3,

This is the same description as the beast in rev 17:7, which is a city, Rev 17:9, 17:18, Rome.

This is a picture of Rome becoming a nation again, "crawling out or the pit".

The same phrase is used in Rev 13, as well, and cannot be a particular city or nation...

How is Satan bound?

He cannot deceive the nations, 20:3, Gog and Magog, 20:8

When he "the dragon" (Rome), is loosed, who does he deceive? 20:7

The nations which are in the 4 quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog. 20:8

When they are deceived, what do they do?

Compass, (surround), Jerusalem and the camp of the saints.

Satan, the dragon (Rome), cannot destroy Israel until they are restored to Jerusalem.

Rome was restored as a nation in 1929.

The dragon (Rome) is loose, he wants to destroy Israel, he will soon say the words that cause The Kings of the East (Iran) to attack.

How do you get Rome...?

I will not use Job I will John the revelator

Revelation 12

10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

A simple reading of this passage from Rev 12 clearly informs the reader that the war in Heaven occurred between Michael and his angels & Satan and his angels – but, it was Jesus (God) that cast Satan from Heaven....aorist, past tense.

no ,not really. Bowman has interpreted scripture incorrectly. I dont expect you to recognize that. You are obviously still on milk.
Pick any verse that I have posited, and rebut it directly...

In context so there is no confusion

7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them[a] in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”
Indeed....there is no confusion at all.

The entire passage is in the completed action tense!

It has already occurred.

Thanks!

False, again read it again and again and again an then maybe it will sink in, woe to the inhabitants Earth For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” and how could he accuse the brethren day and night were talking about 80 to 90 Ad when this was written if it was past tense you have deceived yourself, no satan has deceived you.

In fact this is the trib when he is cast out of heaven. I love you man and I have been in many threads that you have been in. I must ask, have you accepted Jesus Christ as your lord and savior? I don'y mean to haughty or better than thou for I know that I am not, but from the post you make I must ask.

Wow, why say that? I'm now un-friending you pal, because we believe satan is bound, he's not saved? Who talks like that? and then in the same sentence tell him you love him? ... Someone needs an evaluation!

Revelation repeats the same material over and over again throughout its 22 chapters...

Revelation is basically about the city of man vs. the city of God, from my studies...
