It seems easier to me to believe that the government is conspiring to deceive people with the flat earth idea to show what kooks Christians are, than to go through all the trouble of fabricating all the photos and science that show the earth to be a sphere.
And the "passion" with which it is defended by simply ignoring all the incontrovertible truth that contradicts it, makes me wonder what is truly motivating the people who proclaim it. Maybe they are the ones who are conspiring with the government?
Either that, or we need to spend more time praying for those who are not be able to honestly evaluate the evidence in the name of Christ and through the working of the Spirit of Truth in their lives - at the moment.

I never said I didn't. But I speculate it is more likely that the government is behind the flat earth theory than the spherical earth theory.

Spherical, if you and I were to take such a trip, do you have enough "spiritual and emotional maturity" to reevaluate your position?
Honestly, I am willing to reevaluate mine if there is sufficient true evidence to justify it.
I have broken out of a number of "cultural (and Christian) indoctrinations" to which I was subject. It takes courage to admit one is possibly wrong about something significant.
But that is how one becomes a true Christian in the first place. Christian growth is, not only the willingness, but the determination to continue learning where one is wrong and asking the Father, in Jesus' name, to help you change.

NASA and modern astronomy say the Earth is a giant ball tilted back, wobbling and spinning 1,000 mph around its central axis, traveling 67,000 mph circles around the Sun, spiraling 500,000 mph around the Milky Way, while the entire galaxy rockets a ridiculous 670,000,000 mph through the Universe, with all of these motions originating from an alleged "Big Bang" cosmogenic explosion 14 billion years ago. That’s a grand total of 670,568,000 mph in several different directions we’re all supposedly speeding along at simultaneously, yet no one has ever seen, felt, heard, measured or proven a single one of these motions to exist whatsoever.
The Bible does not define this earth as flat. It used the terminology of an unscientific, poetic based culture to communicate the the truths of God.
Claiming the earth is flat because the Bible referred to it from that perspective is not "proof" the world is flat. It is just as valid as demanding that God must have wings because it says so somewhere in the Bible.
There is a difference between what a given Bible passage was intended to convey by God and the authors and what we, in our own speculation think it might mean 2-3000 years later in our 21st century mindset.
Claiming the earth is flat because you personally think a given passage kind of looks like it supports a flat earth is not honoring to God who has given us tools of logic and science, along with godly Spirit led wisdom, to discern the truth of the world around us.

Pretending you have never heard of a globe or even a flat earth before, let's just allow the Bible to speak for itself. Read them over a couple of times, asking the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what they mean. Without forcing an interpretation based on preconceived notions, meditate on them and ask yourself, "What is the Bible really showing me concerning the nature of the heavens, the earth, the sun, moon and stars?" Then, in the next section after this one, I will give my commentary on these Scriptures, revealing what I believe they are saying to me.
The Scriptures below are arranged by topics in order to set the stage for what will follow. I have placed the book of Job before Genesis as many (if not most) scholars believe it is the oldest book of the Bible. And I have also emphasized words in bold for us to consider as we read.
