Christians do not speak this way, because they're supposed to have faith. But I am surely backsliding and besides my child, there is nothing about my life that I appreciate right now. I feel like every decision i made-career, marriage, etc etc are all mistakes. I am dying to talk to somebody.. Please pray for me. Thanks..
 
It's going to be ok. Your Father in heaven greatly loves you. Your brothers and sisters in Christ love you. Dear Heavenly Father, please let Your daughter feel Your Presence. Show her the incredible value she has as a member of Your Body, and let her remember the joy she has in You. In Jesus mighty Name I pray.
 
Hi Fleur.
It sounds to me like you are either going through a rough time, or maybe even showing signs of depression. If there is help available where you are I advice you to find someone to talk to and have you tested for depression. I cannot for the life of me remember who said it, but a quote goes: "Depression is the inability to construct a future" (and to answer your question: Yes, I have felt like that countless times, even to some extent still do).

Like you said, maybe Christians aren't too good at admitting it when they go through such times, but I assure you, we do go through them. I advise you to read Ecclesiastes. You will see that even Solomon felt that life was empty, meaningless.

Nothing good will come out of your life if you really do decided to go back to cheat with cheating ex. Just saying.

Don't go with self-fulfilling prophecy, particularly when you're trying to excuse it across this site.

BUT, you're young enough to consider yourself a "Young Adult," married and have a child, so am I guessing right that your child is a baby? The reason I ask is because maybe you're suffering from postpartum depression, not backsliding. There could be a medical reason you're depressed. Go check it out.

(And you have someone to talk to. Your husband. You seem to keep dismissing the guy simply because you think the guy who cheated on you was a "soulmate." God does not screw up who we marry. Fall in love with the guy you married. It's doable with help from God.)

Despair is a heavy burden. It's said that Christians should be content with what they have and not wanting. When we stigmatize desires, though, we cage motivation and, worse, hope.

Is there really nobody you can talk with, Fleurdelise?

I doubt that this is still post partum depression since my child is already 13 months. And i hope you believe me when i say i have tried to talk to my husband so many times. It's almost always like bouncing sounds off a wall.

This sounds cliché, but have you really tried "listening" to him? Listening is probably 80% of "talking" with another person.

But, may I offer an alternative to that?

Well, there is probably more to her story then she has shared. Based off of what I read, I cant really offer anything without more information.
 
She's had advice on every post she's made on other forums. What she needs is to get in the Bible and cry out to God.. people can't help when you need God's work in your life

May you find what you seek through the Father. It can be difficult to step out of hopelessness, you're not alone in that. God is a God of healing and meaning.

Well for one u are living , sounds like u have a roof over your head , and u have internet connection , sounds like u are doing ok for the most part ---
