It took me five years to not feel pain more often than not. I used to pray and ask God to say hey to my mom for me. I think that he may have. May the Lord comfort you on the days you feel sad. Joy will come in the morning. Im not sure which morning but it will come. Amen

The way you worded this hit me deep Evie. It really speaks to the immeasurable loss you've been dealt. A mother's love... My daughters are your age, and it hurts me to think about you going through this world without that. I hope that the memory of that love, and the knowledge that it's still there for you in spirit, always, will help some.
I can't believe it's been two years. It feels so much fresher than that. I know we can't come close to sharing your pain in this, but remembering those terrible days, and our prayers together in chat, and evenings talking with you, and updates and love we all shared during that time... it bonds us to you. I feel like we all went through it together in a way. You opened to us and allowed us to share in that. But you are still going through it, and will be passing through it for a while yet, and I wish I could take that away from you. I'm thinking about you tonight.
