I have a split personality on the matter.
I think that faith in Jesus = salvation, and I don't think God goes back on His promises.
... but then there's always that "What is a person looses faith?"
(And if someone says "they were never saved/ never believed to begin with" I will take my cyversword and run after you)

Will you skewer me for thinking maybe the person did believe in some ways, but was never saved? Jesus promised that all the Father gave him he would keep, so apparently his saved is eternal. Belief may or may not be eternal. I spent 30 years completely believing the Eagles wound win the Super Bowl that season. Obviously, I was wrong. So, not so much about if a person does believe but what has the Lord given for that belief?
