Sometimes it is easier just to ignore certain threads.
Then you can ignore a whole bunch of people all at the same time

I'm ignoring that.

I honestly don't know and I'm working hard at trying not to find out. (This self-control stuff stinks. I' glad God helps control me sometimes. lol)

No prizes though. I haven't been on here in-depth for a while. (I'm avoiding in-depth simply because I don't have the time.)

Hearing you needed St. Ignora is like finding out I suddenly don't need it. Wow! I really thought you were able to take such good care of your goats, that no one could ever, ever get your goat.

And me being me, my next thought was, "I hope I'm not the person she has on ignore."

(I'm 99.9% sure I'm not just because you'd write to me before you had to take it that far.)

But good news for you -- when we get to heaven, none of us will sin anymore. I think we even won't be able to, but in that it would never dawn on us to want to. With that, none of us will ever recognize each other enough to think we have to protect our goats anymore. The goats were tossed elsewhere, and we sheep just spend eternity with God.

So don't worry so much about facing anyone up there. We're all changed enough that thought never enters our mind either. We're doing what we were designed to do -- glorify God eternally.

I honestly can take a lot and have in the past, but the thing that pushes my button is arrogance and self-righteousness and when I feel others are being treated badly by a so called Christian....I don't like what it does to me and how it makes me feel toward the offending person....so when my anger was starting to get the best of me and my feelings toward the other person were getting out of hand....that's when they went on ignore....

I prayed about it as I needed forgiveness for that anger and those feelings and the other person needed prayer....as in pray for your enemies do good to those who spitefully use you... Well I didn't feel used but I needed a time out....

I have to answer to God for me and the other person will have to do the same for themselves and then the reality is God loves us both the same and paid the same price for us both so one is not better than the other we are both sinners in need of a Savior...

I'm sure we have both asked for forgiveness at some point... And there is peace in my heart for putting myself in timeout and the anger level is down... So if that is what it takes as in ignore then so be it....

About the same spot you were in, but I'm not quite as delicate -- either I'm going to stomp the person or I ignore the person. There is little in-between for me.

BUT, quite often, I only ignore for a while, until God takes me out of the time out. The ones with permanent lives in St. Ignora are those who lie or gossip so often, I just can't watch. (And, yes, sometimes I peek to see what they're saying now. Usually that reminds me why they're ignored. Sometimes it means it's time to unignore. One is teetering in my mind right now.)

That's the thing I was at the Stomp part and I don't want to go there so if I am delicate about that area I will own it... Bible says they will know you are My disciples by your love toward one another then I just can't go to the Stomp area and feel good about it when I am told to love my neighbor as myself... Time out is more where I will go... Fight or flight... I will fly away to time out because I want to learn to love my enemies and pray for those who I'd like to stomp.... the internal fight is real as Melita would say the struggle is real....love that kiddo.....

I think you are willing to say sorry if needed and maybe even take correction if shown it's needed.....You may think you are rough and tough but I see that soft underbelly....Can't fool Blond all the time....lol

PS For some reason your kind of arrogance doesn't bother me and besides that you are pretty funny and humor goes a long way with me......I know we don't agree on everything either but I really like your style and Blond really likes you as another human being going through the struggles of real life and you have become a real Sister in Christ to me.....So I have a hard time getting too mad or upset with family.....hugs...

I'm just responding to make sure we're on the same page. When I said "delicate," I didn't mean you are a wallflower or shrinking violet. I like you because you are a mighty warrior in Christ.

I meant "delicate" as in able to maneuver a china shop without knocking things over. I'm more the bull in the same shop, so admire that people are able to be kinder, gentler than I am, even when angry. (I really wish Mythbusters didn't teach me a bull can run through a china shop without knocking anything over. It really kills my delusion. lol)

And the thing that gets us angry is usually the same thing -- don't hurt someone just for sport. We're both protectors. (Mama Bears) You're good in that role, even if someone was dumb enough to treat you badly for it.

I thought a certain someone had been banned, they hadn't been around for days. Apparently not, the "ignore" button had to be used. I can no longer deal with their self-righteousness and the unrighteousness they heap on others so rather than get angry or say something I really shouldn't I had to take the "ignore" route.
