As some of you know, I am a fitness coach as well as a life coach. Fitness and being healthy is something I am very passionate about. I am already working with some people to push them to get to their goals.

I wanted to start this to see who else is into fitness? What are some things you do in order to get healthy? I'd love to hear your stories on here on how you wanted to get healthy. I want to hear all about your success stories as well :) I have lost 80 pounds!

Tell me all the stories.
In my mind I am into fitness.
Now I suffer from who knows what and I am 30 lbs. overweight in my gut.
I lack muscle mass.
I've had a heart attack, a stent, hypothyroidism, high anxiety, barrett's esophagus, and who knows what else.
With all my conditions, how do I lose weight?
I have no energy.

I would say just by walking Allen.

Start off just a little. Then go more and more.

I don't think it would be wise to push yourself too hard with cardio or weights given your heart condition.

I like exercise. I do at least a bit everyday ( I have to keep myself in shape because of my fibromyalgia) and I mainly do cardio at home..anything that works at home works for me :)

I feel like I really killed it last week, so I took a day off yesterday. I'm planning to do lower body tonight, cardio/abs Tuesday, and then get back to heavy lifting the rest of the week. :)

I did the 2 most difficult hikes of my entire life so far these past few days....once at Pailon De Diablo and once along the Napo region of the amazon rainforest. Every muscle of my body is sore right now from climbing up and down and up and down.

You hiked in the Amazon? That is most impressive.

I was planning on working out today, but the weather here is just so terrible for this time of the year, I just lost enthusiasm. I stayed in most of the day. Actually snowed here for about 5 minutes this morning, and is only 45 right now, very cloudy. Oh well, tomorrow...

That is awesome! I'd love to do that.

I don't ever want to see snow in May lol. I can't blame you for wanting to stay in.

I exercise indoors because of the bad weather...I'd never get it done either if I waited for nice weather LOL!

my husband was in the Amazon for 2 years....120 miles up...seems to me anything in the Amazon might be taxing with the heat and humidity...I've only hiked in northern climes....always look forward to the 'down' part

Didn't get any workouts in this week.

I was out of town from sunday to wednesday and when I got back I had too much to do around the house.

I might have gotten in a workout at the motel, but if you've seen the "fitness" room in motels about all you can do is get on a treadmill. Treadmills are boring to me and I don't like them so I generally don't use them.

I suppose there would be too much liability to have a squat rack and some free weights.

I'll be out of town next week, too. So, two weeks off from working out. I was so close to checking on my goal of squatting 405 too. Gotta remember its a marathon and not a sprint.

Kind of like Christianity, eh. (That's Canadian for kind of like Christianity)

Got some light cardio in this morning. Going to try to lift a bit after the Preakness later. It will probably be a chest/shoulders/back day.

Just finished my 3rd workout of the day. I did my lifting this morning, a 30 minute run this afternoon, and then got on the bike tonight/this morning lol. I'm sure I'll be sore tomorrow, but sometimes you just have to go for it.

Doing two workouts today....double cardio.

To say I'm crazy is definitely an understatement.
