I was pushing myself beyond what I can do for a couple of weeks now. I've been so tired the last two days, I was afraid I couldn't visit John. I was afraid I'd fall apart from exhaustion.

I still have 20,000 things I got to get done, but I just had to have a Sabbath Rest day today. I spent the morning with God a bit, came online for a while, went to visit John, came home and then came on CC back to a cool discussion I was having with Post and Ariel. Even Valiant got in on it. It was started by Kayla, but I was learning stuff about science and what others think and trying hard to ignore the Snerts. Two hours talking about micro/macro evolution and how the possibilities can still fit into the Bible.

Meanwhile, others acted like children with temper tantrums calling people all sorts of names that didn't even fit into the conversation. Not even their version of how they thought the conversation is.

I was looking forward to answers of questions I had when the thread wasn't merely closed, it was deleted.

Wasted time. I wonder if Kayla is upset that it's her posts that keep disappearing. I did find out name calling really doesn't get you banned.

Wasted times. The bullies ran their way, and good people lost. I guess this is the new and improved CC. Can't say I'm a fan.

Depleted Please don't overwork yourself I can't stand the thought of you being exhausted and worn out and having your health in danger I don't say this to be nice I say this because it truly worries me. We were not built to carry everything ourselves and as for the issues you had on cc I wish I could help but sadly these things happen when they do even though it hurts I trust God he allowed it to happen for a reason and in the end he somehow pulls everything together

Dunno what thread you're referring to, but a whole bunch of people would have had to report it in order for it to be closed or deleted.

Just a string of have-to-get-it-done before hubby comes home stuff. In the last two weeks, along with regular life, I found out how hard it is to live without having a useable front sidewalk (and my sidewalk is my yard lol), checked out the nursing home John's going to next, learned what an endocrinologist thinks about my goiter, (it's as bad as I feared, which is okay, since it won't get super bad for another year or so), got a cavity filled (haven't had that happen since the early 1980's lol), had someone come to my house to teach me how to use a new TENS unit, (I know how to use a TENS unit, but it was the only way to buy a good unit), and refilled and filled some containers just to sow some flower seeds. (They're emerging in 3 days. Whoa!)

Before he comes home, I need to get his comforter washed (at a laundromat, since it won't fit in our washer), clean out the front porch for things like wheelchairs and walkers, (guess where we throw out stuff that's too big for the trash lol), try and squish my computer tower into a different spot, since my new chair is too big for a walker to get by, see a new primary, see an ENT specialist, finally get around to seeing an eye doctor, since I should have done that a year ago and now my computer glasses don't even work well, get that TENS vest that was promised with the TENS unit, try to get in an order from our outdoor food market for sausage without salt or preservatives, because I've learned how to cook sausage better than anything else since he's been away and supermarket sausage is full of all sorts of things he can't eat, and clear off his bed so he can use it with a fresh comforter. lol

He's coming home a lot quicker than I thought, and once he's home, I really don't want to keep leaving him alone while I take care of all the medical stuff I stopped worrying about in the last six months.

Lesson learned: Stop thinking the holiday season is when life gets less hectic. (Hey, for us, it was. lol)

Worse yet, I really thought he'd come home to a clean house. Nope. Same house six months later.

The thread wasn't causing the problems. Two people on the thread were. The rest was the usual BDF stuff -- some good, some not, nothing terrible. But I really wanted to figure out Post's view on what is and what isn't evolution. (High goal, since Post is genuinely smarter -- and a lot smarter -- than I am, but I was still going to try to learn what he knows on that one.) And, I may never learn how anyone worked out Shem was still alive when Abraham died.

guess 'tattling' is in vogue...or has it always been this way, especially if one is not on board
with another's way of thinking or doing things???

11PETER 1:5-10.
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity
For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither
be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten
that he was purged from his old sins.
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:
for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

I don't get the reference. Where is the tattling?

it would appear that if a person or group doesn't go along with another's thoughts or ideas or on
just about any given subject, then they become a 'target' or worse, the victim of
rudeness or bullies...

nothing JUST disappears here for no reason...usually it is about someone or someones not AGREEING
or accepting another's thoughts or ways...

we have seen this excellerate as of late, as well as several other 'negative' ball-playing techniques....

Tolerance and Christ-like Love seem to be on the wan...

I'm not a fan. But I've been driven to read more. I'm.not a fan either. But I can't complain about the box seats.

I'm curious, since you missed the time the improvements were made. Is it better than when you left for a while?

And, do box seats come with popcorn, chocolate, or both?

There were improvements? Like new curtains?
