I'm about 50/50 on this list........but some glaring mistakes should be evident to everyone. Will see if anyone comments on them.

I am not...........just wondering how it is anyone can read that list and not see some glaring problems with it. And, hoping I don't always have to be the one to point them out. Sometimes, it's nice to have someone else point them out.

Legalizing drugs would take power away from the drug cartels and leave more room in prisons for murderers and rapists. Or the CIA could stop bringing the drugs in the first place

I will give one example.......and then I will wait for someone other than me to actually think about all of this and see the problems...........other than that, I guess it can go unexplained............no sweat off my back.....

Study looks at college age church dropouts -...

(excerpts)

SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO?
According to the study, 70 percent of young adults ages 23-30 stopped attending church regularly for at least a year between ages 18-22.

[and, ignored by the list is this]

ALREADY RETURNING
Many of those who drop out do return eventually. Among former church dropouts who are now ages 23-30, 35 percent currently attend church twice a month or more. Another 30 percent attend church more sporadically. Thus, about two-thirds of those who leave do return at some level.

Seems to me, that's kinda important to know.

As well, the suggestion made is that this is a NEW TREND.........except that Scripture seems to say otherwise.

Proverbs 22:6) Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Trump kind of reminds me of this saying...

If you can't dazzle them with brilliance then baffle them with BS.....

Trouble is a lot of the people are being baffled.....with the big mouth chatter and puffed up self esteem.

I think 35% is less than half of 75%. Not 2/3rds as you say. It also says they attend church once or more a month....big deal. I know lots of people who attend church and really shouldn't bother.....but alas...they do. I think sinnermans post was more of a general statement of the state of our country and it has a lot of truth in it. It also wasn't scientific, but general statements and is pretty right on and something he wrote from his head prior to mowing his lawn. Big deal. I'll wait for more hair splitting.

Donald Trump controversial campaign quotes | Newsday

QUOTE: "When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

QUOTE: "He's not a war hero," Trump said of Arizona Sen. John McCain, a Republican. "He is a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren't captured."

QUOTE: "You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her, wherever."

QUOTE: On Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul: "I never attacked him on his look, and believe me, there's plenty of subject matter right there."

QUOTE: "I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down. And I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering."

QUOTE: "Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on. According to Pew Research, among others, there is great hatred towards Americans by large segments of the Muslim population."

QUOTE: "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot people and I wouldn't lose voters," Trump said at a rally in Iowa, pointing his finger at the crowd like he was shooting a handgun, as he expressed confidence that he would remain atop the Republican field.

QUOTE: "In the Middle East, we have people chopping the heads off Christians, we have people chopping the heads off many other people. We have things that we have never seen before -- as a group, we have never seen before, what's happening right now. The medieval times -- I mean, we studied medieval times -- not since medieval times have people seen what's going on. I would bring back waterboarding and I'd bring back a hell of a lot worse than waterboarding."

QUOTE: "His father was with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to Oswald's being, you know, shot," Trump said of his rival, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. "Nobody even brings it up, I mean they don't even talk about that. That was reported and nobody talks about it."

this is just a few..............just scratching the surface really........goodness

Talk about not being sincere............ok.........fine with me. Wonder if your son was one of those kids miscounted how you would feel? And the fact that they are returning is kinda important, that and the fact that this IS NOT a new trend. Throughout our History, there have been periods where the Church saw numbers of children exiting for a period of time.

But, I suppose none of this matters

Man, you should hear some of the rings I've said. You'd be appalled. Probably judge me unfairly, tell me I'm this or that. Walk away with an attitude towards me that regards me as less than human. But, I'd just counter it with the truth about me and leave it that.

Talk about not being sincere............ok.........fine with me. Wonder if your son was one of those kids miscounted how you would feel? And the fact that they are returning is kinda important, that and the fact that this IS NOT a new trend. The only real thing you can do for others is pray. Outside of that we are all responsible only for ourselves. I like people, I care about people. I understand people pretty well. There are some people that if I ran into on the street and they wanted to talk like we were old friends I'd probably rebuff them. I've been hurt by people, mostly by people who wear Jesus on their sleeve and some who don't.

Funny story about my son yesterday. We were golfing and he was getting pretty frustrated on the first nine. To the point where it was starting to agitate me a little. I decided to just hold my tongue and let it all happen. I made a few comments like, "just put that shot behind you" etc.

We've had lots of conversations about choosing your thoughts and attitudes in the past so I just wanted to see what he ended up doing.

We hit the back nine and about the 11th hole he says to me, "I've decided to change my attitude dad". I said, "I know, I can tell, good job man, I am proud of you".

As we were unloading the cart he says to me again....I'm glad I changed my attitude dad, I really had fun and I even golfed better after I did". I said, 'man I had fun too and that being able to control and manage your thoughts and emotions is a sign of true manhood".

I asked him if he wanted me to tell him something about his mind, he said, "sure". I told him that his mind is a garden and that the thoughts he has are seeds....I asked him what bad thoughts would grown into....he said "WEEDS" (I was astounded coming from a 9 year old and was so very proud!) I then asked him what good thoughts grow into...he hesitated and then just said "good stuff" Lol. I told him that good thoughts and attitudes grow into delicious fruit and pretty flowers and deeply rooted trees that give life to others tapped right into the living waters of Jesus. He said, 'wow dad, that's a really good way to say it'.
So to answer your question about my son....I'm not worried because he has the start of a very beautiful garden that has bared much fruit already and I'm just gonna keep helping him tend it.

I have been watching his career and shows he has been on for quite some time before he was a candidate. I read my area newspaper and personally heard the bragging about a Trump Tower being built in Tampa because he loves Tampa ya know... I read the papers telling the stories of some of my fellow neighbors being bilked out of thousands of dollars when the Tampa Tower wasn't built.

I watched the battle between The Donald's fight between him and Rosie O'Donnell. The horrible names that came out of his mouth....

I heard Donald say punch him in the face and I will pay your lawyer fees. His style is entertaining but not worthy of the Presidency.... I would make a better President than the Donald.... he is only out for the power trip not at all trying to better the country... How can you better it promoting the things he does.... He can't make Mexico pay for a wall. He can't keep all of the businesses going he's started or the college going..... Bad for the country....

I can't prove that Trump himself is racist. I've heard stories but it's all hearsay. However I've interacted with enough of his supporters to know that most of them are white supremacists

If Sharpton owes taxes then why isn't he in jail? Kent Hovind got 10 years
Because he is a black bigot.
Our government will never prosecute a black bigot.
