I don't particularly like either candidates, but if I had to choose, the lesser of two evils is Hillary. I'm a Bernie Sanders supporter but unfortunately I don't think he's going to make it.

There is not a SINGLE republican candidate that takes human-caused climate change seriously.

As an american citizen, it's very important that we are scientifically literate...
I'm not running for office, but I am a republican and I take catastrophic climate change more seriously than you and every other person on these forums. I think I posted 40 or more times on the subject and have done my homework. Would gladly find a link to that thread for you to look at. Oh, I'm with the skeptics, by the way, not Al Gore. Do a google search for Freeman Dyson, climate change skeptic. Easily one of the smartest men on the planet. Like me, he questions the feedbacks and computer models used to make outrageous conclusions and predictions. Also, a must for anyone interested in the topic is to spend time on WUWT https://wattsupwiththat.com/ lots and lots of science and quite easy to understand.

The tail end of page 6 is about when I entered the discussion on climate change, if you wish to review the thread http://christianchat.com/christian-...warming-climate-change-debunking-hooey-6.html

Back to the topic. People are quite tired of being told they must vote for one of two choices, just as the OP framed the question. More than half of Americans will not vote at all. Others have expressed their anger by supporting a lunatic socialist who honeymooned in Russia. This isn't scientific, but Sanders is at least 100 times crazier than Trump. A vote for Hillary is a vote for Satan. I'm not saying that is the wrong thing to do because it seems we will see the return of Christ a lot sooner if Hillary is elected. Maybe that is your thought process. Or maybe you approve of her support for abortions on demand.

What, exactly, did President Obama accomplish during his terms in office? Not much outside of executive orders and Obamacare, which passed because Democrats controlled all three branches of government. So what this discussion lacks is perspective. You can dislike a Presidential candidate while grasping the fact that any warm bodies Republican sitting in the White House can appoint a Supreme Court justice that will help protect the unborn being slaughtered. Votes for conservative senators can prevent the liberals from opening the borders and legalizing more drugs and increasing taxes on the middle class. The election is about a lot more than two corrupt personalities, or three if Bernie refuses to drop out.

Everybody is operating as if there are only two options. In reality, there are way more options. Please, please, educate yourselves on who's who and vote according to principles not party and please don't fall into the "win" dogma.

Molly Connor posted a brilliant message just before your message. Please, please, read it again. When you are in your early 20's and are idealistic, you foolishly think that it's fine to toss your vote away to make a statement supporting a green party candidate or some other third party person who will receive less than 5% of the vote. Meanwhile, a republican candidate who would otherwise put republicans into a majority in congress or a local legislature gets beat by 50 votes and the result is liberals control the agenda and force it on you and me. That is what your options lead to. You seriously need to educate yourself to how majorities are created and how in the past, good candidates have lost because of protest votes tossed away. If you are a believer and you hate abortion, as you should, you must be willing to hold your nose and support republicans d
candidates only. Even if you believe Donald Trump is not a Christian and does not care about abortion, if he wins, it prevents Hillary from appointing pro-abortion judges and making it much more difficult for states to restrict abortions. You seem to want to win small battles while losing the war. People who vote for fringe candidates tell their friends it made them feel good despite accomplishing nothing and often causing harm to the conservative republican candidate.

Third party candidates only lose because like you, who refuse to vote any other way but party first. If everyone who votes voted according to principles instead party, those candidates would have a fighting chance. You can keep your "we gotta win even if the candidate is bad" crap and you can keep perpetuating the same sickness that has brought our country to this point. Does having a clear conscience make me feel good? yes, but I don't vote to make myself feel good I vote for what I believe is best for my country. Who, by the way is not on the Green Party or Libertarian Party.
I am voting for Darrel Castle (P) and Scott Bradey (VP) of the Constitution Party. Not that it's your business.
Castle is qualified according to the law and my standards to be president.
If Trump gets in under the Republican Party banner, we will likely have one of two scenarios: 1) He turns out to be great president and the majority love him enough to vote for another republican, which we hope will continue to make things better; 2) He turns out to be exactly what I think he is (a snake in the grass) and we have another 4-8 yrs of progressive crap shove down America's throat after which America will follow its usual pattern and swing back to voting for a democrat, which BTW, is becoming more and more socialist/communist.
I really don't see us winning anything with either Trump (who funded and has been a big part of the corruption) and Killery...I mean Hillary (we all know her crimes).

Also, the next person who insinuates that I do drugs or support the recreational use of drugs will be blocked/ignored. I may be young, but I KNOW I am not the fool in this.

If every registered voter who believes abortion is murder, voted for republican senators and congressmen, and a republican president, republicans would control all branches of government and have a super majority to make abortion a crime and jail doctors performing abortions. Tens of millions of the most innocent and defenseless among us have been murdered, and your priority is to support Darrel Castle and the Constitution Party. I just got done viewing Constitution Party polling.

Planned Parenthood Funding Poll Results for Constitution Party

41% of them are pro-choice. 47% of them support the legalization of gay marriage. 31% of them believe the government should continue to fund planned parenthood. I don't know what to tell you other than when I was 23, I was just as uninformed as you are.

Because nobody can lie on polls.
Your polling website is still changing it's data. As I type this;
Funding of PP: the Constitution Party: 69% no, 31% yes; Republican Party: same percentage, 69% no, 31% yes.
Abortion: 59% pro-life, 41% pro-choice; 69%, 31%
Gay marriage: 47% yes, 53% no; 32%, 68%

If you look at these percents you don't get the full picture and if you vote based solely on poll results, you are not going to get the outcome you desire.
The Republicans have held positions of power and yet abortion is still legal and planned parenthood is still being funded.
When you take a step back from the polls and look at WHO is up for election, what their policies are, their history, etc. THEN you may get the desired results, but in order to do that you have to let go of party loyalties and be loyal to your principles.
Donald Trump is not prolife, Obviously Hillary and Sanders are not. Jill Stein is not. Gary Johnson is not. Castle is 100% pro-life.
He has also served in the military, is a God fearing man, and has very good policies on the things I care about.

I've been to their home page and read about their values. I like what I read. I was amused to read how proud they are to have 3000 followers on social media. That might mean they have enough support to win a seat on a small town city council.

Reality often stinks. I find it difficult to accept reality at times. Only by knowing God has a plan and it includes allowing the world to decline and become as immoral as in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, can I accept what I see all around me. If Jesus Christ was here now, and He was running for President as part of the Constitution Party, He would be called anti-women and anti-gay, and likely lose the election. I will not despair, knowing the trajectory of our country. You and I will have the leadership we desire when we enter eternity. I wish your candidate the very best.

Except I can't vote for someone that is a bully as much as Trump. The Bible tells us you can tell the fruits of the spirt of someone just by how they act. Trump mocking a disabled reporter? That's the fruit of the spirit? It's not so black and white as you and other people try to make it out to be. I am not voting for Trump and it's because he's an arrogant donkey. You just don't get to act however you want and get what you want in the process. That's not what I believe, and I won't let people compromise my beliefs. And no, that's not "a vote for Clinton". A vote for Clinton would be if I went and voted for her, which I'm not doing so either.

Trump didn't mock the reporter because he was disabled. He mocked him because he was an idiot. It's interesting to me that the people who scream equal rights for everyone the loudest are the same ones who can't get past what a person looks like on the outside. They see everything so one dimensionally.

It's funny how a Christian considers mocking someone is okay. Ignorance is bliss.

"He mocked him cause he was an idiot." So the fruit of the spirit is to mock? I didn't know it was okay to do so, and to make hand motions like the reporter did due to his disability.
