Patriotism as we know it ended with mass immigration through the fear of upsetting minorities. Not many Brits are patriotic because it is largely frowned upon by the powers-that-be. You get called "racist" and a "bigot" if you brandish an English or British flag. Even football fans going to the Euro's have been asked not to wear Knights Templar outfits for this reason. Some people here in rented accommodation have been told to remove the country's flag as it upsets minority groups.

As for me, if I am told not to do something I'm more likely to do it. I'm stubborn like that and more patriotic than most and they can call me whatever they want to - I won't move my stance. Britain has lost it's "Great" and I mourn that loss.

I love my country, so don't get me wrong with what I am going to say. Things were pretty nice in Canada for 10 years under conservative Christian Prime Minister Harper. We came out of the recession in good shape because of his tight fiscal policies and low spending. He also kept things socially conservative, although he could never overturn the abortion laws. Then came the election last October.

The left wing media smeared Harper to death. They deified the youthful Trudeau, who is actually worse than his father, having absolutely no qualifications or experience for the job! And Trudeau ripped off Obama's slogan "time for a change" and the rest is history.

We have a humanistic Muslim Prime Minister, jetting around the world, who thinks he has a license to unbridled spending, and to change the very fabric of our nation, which has always been based in Christian principles and practices. Even our national motto "And he shall have dominion from sea to sea" comes from Psalm 72:8!

So Obama has been tutoring our boy child PM and he has unleashed non gendered bathrooms, is taking the "sexist" language out of our national anthem, and pushing through assisted suicide legislation. Then there was the latest Supreme Court decision that sex with animals is ok! As for the economy, the military, and other important things, I don't think he has time to worry about those things when he is enjoying jet setting at the tax payers expense.

But then God reminds me that no more than this life, our country is not supposed to be what we are focusing on. We are supposed to be living with the Kingdom of God as our focus. Earthly kingdoms and their rulers will rise and fall, but Christ is our only true King. And not just King, but King of kings!

"On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords." Rev. 19:16

I am so sorry to hear that you guys too, are going through a anti-Christian, immoral, Liberalist take over. It was prophesied that in the last days, the world would become more and more evil. We do not have to like it, in fact we hate the evil that is spreading like a cancer. What it means, is we are getting VERY CLOSE, to hearing that SHOUT from the Archangel, that will carry us to forever be with Jesus. Can you imagine how rapidly the world will become totally rotten; once we and the Holy Spirit in us are removed from earth. Does that mean our work on earth is done? We must fight everyday to protect the freedom and liberty that we have because men who know so much more than the rest of us are working around the clock to steal from us our liberty and freedom.

Honor those who have given their blood to keep us free and safe many of whom did not know the God Who drew salvations plan.

Do you have any skin in the game Roger? You do not strike me as the type, based on all the men in my family that served, including my son. Do you realize that very few sacrifice/tow the line for the majority, and most oh so grateful freedom loving people will not even mow their lawns while they're away for their young wives with children, or see the smallest act of kindness they could do for these soldiers families? No, they go about their lovely lives, no worries. But they say "honor them for their service" what does that mean? Empty words a pat on the back? but I could be wrong about you Roger, because you certainly are wrong about me.
