I am a devout follower of Christ who frequently has visions. I have very recently (last night) stumbled upon a verse that took me be surprise. It was this..

John 7:38
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living waters

The reason the verse had significance to me is because most days I used to walk up a steep hill about 3k long and I would praise the Lord and talk with him whilst walking. One day on my way down the hill I could feel the holy spirit. I looked down and there was my vision of a river pouring out of me, just pouring out of my belly and it felt like the holy spirit was just pouring out of me as an endless mighty river. That was about a year and a half ago.

I also came across some scripture about the Lord's bread. About 3 years ago I had a 7 day period of fasting as led by the Holy Spirit to do so, during this time Jesus came in a vision, he gave me a chalice to drink from and I drank, he gave me bread to eat and I did also. It's difficult to explain how this would happen but it was spiritual and even though my hand reached for it, it was my spirit that received it and ate and drank. I thought nothing of it again until last night as I happened upon the scripture.

The Lord gives me confirmations and speaks to me through his word as well, he shows/teaches me first or does works or gives me messages then he re-enforces things at times with scripture or acts.

Obviously a lot more has hapened in my walk with Christ before these things but Yes he is living and does wonders. Praise the Lord!

It is only a testimony of this thing that he has done in my life. How he has showed me that he is the living spirit and his word is true!

But I cannot have one without the other, the Bible is just the story for me without the Lord. With the Lord his words come to life.

I put this out there because I believe everyone is a visionary, though when we see we don't always acknowledge and believe that it's true, it's written. So maybe now some will read my testimony and the next vision they have they may acknowledge it and say 'I see you Lord' and they might pray for his confirmations and receive them as he has worked with me.

My testimony is a part of my personal preparation and journey with the Lord. I now know the task I have ahead of me, I don't know how my life now is going to come to that but I follow because I trust in him as he has in me to do these things for the Lord and I will be called out soon to begin his work. He makes me stronger but I need to be bolder but I know I will not be recieved well by many.

It is such a powerful verse and so real. The reason why people found the verse so hard is the real experience for people is often missing.

I see she was banned, but just to point out something she said she said she believes everyone is a visionary and I would have to disagree we all have different gifts some are called to be teachers some are not some are called to servants while others are called to be prayer warriors some are called to prophets some are not.

Visionary in biblical terms falls into the realm of prophetic dreams and visions of the prophets and seers and one can try to walk in these gifts but it won't be from God if they begin to see things. If the gift from the holy spirit just isn't there and one tries to walk in it satan sees a golden opportunity
