I was wondering the same thing! These Vikings are such mean party-poopers. :p
I'm actually a descendant of vikings...so...

God loves us deeply for who we are even though we aren't perfect by any means.

With many, myself being no exception, this is what is sorely lacking.

What are we calling treasure? To me, that's it.

I've waited by the window watching the rain hit it, waited for someone i loved and did not care to return my love since I was small. This is how we treat those with the name of Christ these days.

Did I ever in a million years in and of myself expect that God would be waiting for me in the same way in the form of an angel?

No.

That, to me, is what makes his love so wonderful.

My family and I may be in and around Kentucky for up to a week or so in late this year or possibly early next year, on the way home from my brother's wedding in Brazil. Not sure at this stage when that will happen. Main attractions: The Ark. I don't know if any of my online friends live nearby, CC and others.

Tintin: I'm in southwest Tennessee. Which part of Kentucky are we talking about?

Ah. Cool, Lynx. I'm not sure of much of anything at the moment, beyond Williamstown for the Ark Encounter and possibly Lexington to see a long-time online Christian friend and his wife from another site.

That's a day's drive or less. Keep me posted, and if they have the ark done it might be really neat to see it.

I'm going nuts...my new job. Plans change every five minutes.
Not actually working yet. Been there three days, watching orientation tapes, taking tests.
But I'm "hearing things", out of the employees. Main boss doesn't show up sometimes, doesn't solve problems.
Leaves that to the others, driving them crazy. Questioning myself, do I really want to work here?
I'm 51, and working for $9.25/hr. After my stroke, I don't do crazy very well. That's why I had it. 30+ years of crazy.
Praying for guidance.

Thanks, sister. I'll keep you posted. The Ark will be finished in time for its opening on July 7.

Sorry you're going through that. Maybe it just seems crazy because you're new?
