God is not some old man with a white beard down to his feet hoping you will let him help you. The J. witnesses don't believe Jesus is God. The Catholics attach and reverend Mary and their fathers and priests above most people. Many people don't acknowledge Christ as God believing in there own works and choices.

God is Jesus Christ, the exalted ruling savior ruling his creation and having Mercy on his chosen people. He has chosen our inheritance by himself and he alone is worthy of all praise and honor. He is King of all and rules over the heathen as well as his beloved blood bought children and he alone determines judgement and desolation as well as our amazing salvation of his people. Stand in awe and sin not. Praise be to him for what he does, did and will do, for he is a great and terrible King

For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great king over all the earth. He shall choose our inheritance for us even the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Sing praises to God, sing praise to unto our king. Sing praises to Christ the Lord for he reigns over the heathen. God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness. ......from Psalm 47

Jesus Christ is Lord and king of all and his people give thanks to him for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. May he bless you as only he can do.

Praise be to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the living God of all.

The question who is God is a question that has been asked for thousands of years even to this as well as I know as close as I am to him I ask him who are you? I am so grateful with how generous he has been in showing me who he is in teaching me and revealing me the deep and hidden secrets of his heart and yet I feel that I have yet even begin to truly know him that his is a ocean in which I can still go sooooooooo much deeper in.

Does anyone else know what it's like? I mean to know him so well and yet have a strange sensation that you haven't even begun to 1% of him and to be truly curious and long to know him more? I think if people come to God they will come to Jesus it isn't a question of if Jesus is God or not it's a question of if you know God or not because if you know him you will also know Jesus. The thing is we can live in this world for million years and yet still not fully know him which just means there is that much more to enjoy

Lift up your heads, O gates,
And be lifted up, O ancient doors,
That the King of glory may come in!
Who is the King of glory?
The LORD strong and mighty,
The LORD mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O gates,
And lift them up, O ancient doors,
That the King of glory may come in!

Who is this King of glory?
The LORD of hosts,
He is the King of glory. (Ps 24:7-10)

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

It is amazing that many people will read these verses yet can not put it together. The creator of everything took on flesh, walked the dusty roads of Jerusalem, and hung on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins because he loves us.

God Bless

Any comments or opinion regarding the dismissal of the passage?

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Do these three, the Spirit and the Word and the Holy Ghost sound symbolically similar to the male shall leave his mother and father and cleave unto his wife and they shall be one flesh? (I always wanted to include the emphasis of saying "Huh Woman?")

But I know as sure as I do, someone will say that the married male and female weren't called Woman because it says that the 'man' shall cleave unto his wife, cause God created man and woman. Then they will start saying I am idiot for even suggesting that the married male and female was called the Woman in Genesis 2. Then they will start rebuking me for such heresy because we weren't made from the rib of the LORD but rather were formed from the dust of the ground and dust we shall return because we have eternal life..." To which I will reply, take it up with the Man while I go back to studying to be quiet like it says in 1 Thess 4:11, so I guess Matthew 19 sounds like a good place to start. But then of course I will remember Ecclesiastics 12:12.

Going into different translations will start a huge discussion that will be off topic from the OP. That being said if you want my opinion, I mostly use the KJV because I have researched and came to the conclusion that it is the most similar to the original manuscripts. As more translations started being wrote, there were copy write issues, which meant they could not just copy a bible that has already been written and call it the NIV, NKJV etc. therefore they had to change words, verses, and sometimes leave out an entire verse. I believe that some of these other translations were written for nothing other than someones personal financial gain. Some of the verses left out of the other translations lead to pure confusion which I believe satan uses to further his own agenda. As you can see if you go with the rest of the bible you can clearly see that the Lord Jesus Christ is the creator God. When you change 1 John 5:7 it will lead you to believe otherwise therefore causing a contradiction with the rest of scripture.

God Bless,

Hebrews 4:12
God's word is living and active. It is sharper than any two-edged sword and cuts as deep as the place where soul and spirit meet, the place where joints and marrow meet. God's word judges a person's thoughts and intentions.
13*No creature can hide from God. Everything is uncovered and exposed for him to see. We must answer to him.
14*We need to hold on to our declaration of faith: We have a superior chief priest who has gone through the heavens. That person is Jesus, the Son of God.
15*We have a chief priest who is able to sympathize with our weaknesses. He was tempted in every way that we are, but he didn't sin.
16*So we can go confidently to the throne of God's kindness to receive mercy and find kindness, which will help us at the right time.
