Well, someone on this website pointed out the blue writing of a person's name symbolizes male while the pink symbolizes female.

So now you know!
Good to know, thank you

I had to bury a sweet little kitten tonight named Monroe. He was so small, smaller than his sibling.
I don't know why I feel the need to share this, but I do. I hate death! Just another reminder. I thought of this verse in Revelation.

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away

God bless

I do have the only foundations(Jesus) on which to build, and it may look like I am building a crazy looking house, but I have been a carpenter all my life. I'm also left handed, kind of creative. I know that God is with me, of that I am sure.
So it may look wackier than everyone else's house, but I have this promise from the Lord!

1Co 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

1Co 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1Co 3:12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

1Co 3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

1Co 3:14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

1Co 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

I have to take care of my cat, she lost a baby kitten tonight... That makes me sad
I am sorry about that kitten...
It is sad...

Sorry about your kitten Badger58. I find it so amazing that even all creatures are individuals, with their own little personalities. We're blessed in so many ways, if we can look all around us, see the beauty He created.

About the 2 witnesses, I recently have been looking at all verses containing olive trees. What I think I'm seeing is ...wow could it be? anyways...still pondering it all, to early to say much.

The main problem as i see it is too many people who have no training in Theology are trying to deceive us with what they want the Scriptures to say.

Badger58 is a good example of this. He has no former training in how to study the Scriptures and jumps to conclusions that are not there.

We have seen many false Churches today run by a person who has no training in Theology deceiving others with false Doctrines.

Is this really what God wanted?

2 Timothy 2:14-17
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Remind them of these things, and solemnly charge them in the presence of God not to wrangle about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of the hearers. [SUP]15 [/SUP]Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. [SUP]16 [/SUP]But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness, [SUP]17 [/SUP]and their talk will spread like gangrene.

We need to accurately handle the Word of God and i do not see this in this thread.

Ah, the unbridled wellspring of wisdom found in the young. If only I could have stayed young! Woe is me.

hu·bris/ˈ(h)yo͞obrəs/

noun
excessive pride or self-confidence.

Hubris - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hubris
Hubris describes a personality quality of extreme or foolish pride or dangerous
over-confidence. In its ancient Greek ...

‎Ancient Greek origin

It reminds me of a story I once read by Mark Twain as a youth: It went something this.
When he was a youth, he could not wait to move out of his father's house. He found his fathers ignorance to be intolerable.
So he ventured out into the world. After some years, he longed for some of his mother's cooking. He returned home, and after a fine meal, and conversation with his father, he was astonished at how much the old fool had learned.
Perhaps you are right to point out the obvious, that I have received no formal training(I think that's what you meant to say)
But after 40 years of studying God's word, I may not be as impoverished as you think.

I will give your advice all the consideration it deserves. Thank you for caring so deeply!

And yet the Spirit that guides me, has not allowed my ignorance to be so blinding, that I cannot recognize these words to be true.

Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary
7:19-35 To his miracles in the kingdom of nature, Christ adds this in the kingdom of grace, To the poor the gospel is preached. It clearly pointed out the spiritual nature of Christ's kingdom, that the messenger he sent before him to prepare his way, did it by preaching repentance and reformation of heart and life. We have here the just blame of those who were not wrought upon by the ministry of John Baptist or of Jesus Christ himself. They made a jest of the methods God took to do them good. This is the ruin of multitudes; they are not serious in the concerns of their souls. Let us study to prove ourselves children of Wisdom, by attending the instructions of God's word, and adoring those mysteries and glad tidings which infidels and Pharisees deride and blaspheme.
I praise you Father, that you have revealed yourself to the simple, and concealed yourself from the wise. Amen! Shalom

FYI) I don't run any church, nor do I run anything. I'm just a guy with a bible, thinking out loud, and asking questions.
After investing 40 years to my studies, forgive me if I have the nerve to have an opinion. God please show me the error in my presumption. Are you sending this out to everyone that has started a thread? Or to just the ones that you don't understand? Please be honest! And be fair. Peace

You can have an opinion but you cannot teach your opinion as being the Truth.

When we teach others what the Scriptures say we are to teach them the Truth in the Scriptures, not an opinion as to what we want the Truth to be.

Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

Mal 3:17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

If one denies THE SON, he denies THE FATHER...
Therefore, the TRUTH of GOD is found in CHRIST JESUS...

Many will profess they have god(s)...but if they deny THE SON, then they do not have THE LIVING GOD...

GOD has gathered up and transferred out of the world into HIS SON a set apart people...therefore those who are IN CHRIST who is both the FOUNDATION and THE HEAD (the BEGINNING and the END) (The RESURRECTION and The LIFE)...are in HIM...

and if anyone removes from the equation in their restored relationship with THE FATHER, the SON, (who is both the object and the subject of that restored relationship with GOD)...then he does NOT have a relationship with THE FATHER.

For it is only through CHRIST that we have access to THE FATHER by ONE SPIRIT...

But, is there nothing lost by denying the new testament doctrine of the trinity?
This is the point that I am making.
If anyone opens the door to their heart, Jesus: WE will come in, and dwell.

Ok check this out, from the dead sea scrolls, kept hidden for years.

A careful analysis of the scroll provides numerous indications that the author(s) pictured Melchizedek as being both identical with and distinct from Yahweh God. For instance, the God (Elohim) of Psalm 82:1 who takes his stand in the assembly of God (El) to judge the other gods (Elohim) is said to be Melchizedek. The document also applies Psalm 7:7-8, which speaks of Yahweh judging, to Melchizedek thereby identifying him as Yahweh God (El)! The statement in Isaiah 52:7, "Your God (Elohim) reigns," is interpreted by the author(s) of the scroll to be a reference to Melchizedek reigning as God. Additionally, Melchizedek is said to atone for the sins of the righteous. These actions of atoning and judging are normally associated with God himself.
