I haven't got the grammar thingy on (-proud-). Hence the many errors :p

No, my native language is Dutch, my second almost native language is French (part of Belgium speaks French).
I do have an official English proficiancy licence (mandatory for pilots).

German is very close to Dutch, so I'll survive in Germany, and my next language I wanna learn is Italian.

No Astrid, Norwegian isn't important enough to learn :p :p :p

Calculate the distance of a certain star by studying the doppler effect on electromagnetic waves emitted by that star. Or find a black hole in a black space... Only visible with the same waves being attracted by the hole. Interesting stuff!

Can we go backwards into time by traveling faster than the speed of light, do you think?

No. Einsteins relativity theory states that regardless of the system (reference), we cannot go faster then the speed of light in vacuüm. (If we move at that speed, our mass becomes infinite large, thus impossible to accelerate further, cuz it would demand an infinite large force).

It is a theory however, and I bet God can come up with an exception to that theory :p
 
Hmmm, can't we just all add our ideas together and cook something really good?
