Sorry you'll have to go deeper into that,I don't understand what you're trying to say.
What I'm saying is the majority of Christians today would have no problem going up to a porn star, seeing the bullet holes in their wounded soul, and tell them that Jesus loves them. What they would never do is say the same to a gay person walking in a parade. They would be much more comfortable talking about how disgusting they are as humans, and feel okay about it because hey, they're just telling the truth. I'm not saying you exactly, because I don't know you. But "preaching the truth" is code for many people to justify their looking down on people and being angry with them. The heart is deceitfully wicked, and deceives even genuine believers in many ways.

I'm not entirely sure what the word reprobate means in English, let alone what the Greek word meant. Does it mean that we shouldn't actively love the person with that type of mind?
It means they have gone beyond "love" and mercys power to bring them to repentance ...the word literally means something so defiled it cannot be purified ...fear is the only option in these cases

No one is ever going to bring a gay person to repentance apart from the fear of Gods judgment being very apparent and clear to them.

I don't know about that stuff. It's beyond my understanding. What I know for sure is that Jesus was a friend to sinners, and not just the sinners that came to know him as Lord. Whether or not someone is in Christ or will ever be in Christ, we have a responsibility to love them in a way that nobody else has.

Dude you don't even know what you are saying ... folks are reaching out to all sinners and the message don't get watered down to go along with the gay agenda.

Yes he saved them and delivered them from sin and sins power ..if you don't know the bible and New Testament doctrine on these issues...why are you going on and on as if you are some expert on Christian doctrine?

If Jesus had spent most of his time "preaching the truth," he wouldn't have had so many degenerate friends. More than anything, he loved people. And the Church today does not love gays. It absolutely does not. And it's sick.
Jesus came to heal the sick and the sinner, and that's what he did. He taught of the straight and narrow way that leads to heaven. All that were touched by Jesus followed the straight and the narrow way because he cleansed them and made them whole. He was and still is the light of the world. He didn't condone any sin but rather spoke the truth and gave repentance from sins. Jesus always preached the truth because he is the truth. I've never read where he condoned any sin.

If a gay person told you they wanted to come to Christ, would you try to talk them out of it? Would you insist on addressing their type of sin, or would you trust God to deal with their sin once they get born again? Conversion is instant.....it tells us in Acts that Paul preached and thousands got saved that day, and thousands the next time he preached. Those people afterwards had a lifetime of learning about the ways of God. But we are all misfits on the day of salvation, receive righteousness, and then battle against sin until death.

Well we call it "preaching the truth in love". Its the same message no matter the sin,no matter the person.

Who suggested I would talk them out of it? (that's just dumb) ... I would tell them the truth about their sin and my sin according to scripture and the power of Christ and the Holy Spirit to overcome sin.

I have led sinners to Christ ...but you admit you don't know or understand the bible ..so you wont understand how it works.

I was quoting NT scripture to you and this is your response "I don't know about that stuff. It's beyond my understanding"...so which is it?

I don't know about the reprobate mind stuff. I think I understand how sociopaths and people like in Romans 1 will not be able to come to Christ. But I don't know where the line is drawn there. That's all I was saying.

Look, I hate the gay agenda just as much as you do. But above all, they will know we are Christians by our love. And that includes loving the unbeliever in such a way that nobody has loved them. And we are still commanded to do it and should want to do it, even if they will never be saved.

Guy..i don't talk about winning people to Christ on some site ...I don't have some theory of how it works... I know how it works and have done it for years and trained and equipped others . Save some by fear ...means exactly that! and its not love to keep the truth about sin from people to protect your own ideas about how things should be done. You win souls by being led by the Spirit of God..and if God leads you to tell someone they are going to hell? YOU do it Gods way and it will work.

Don't put words in my mouth. I never said that loving someone meant keeping the truth about sin from them.

Guy... Jesus loved people when he warned them about Hell ..so did Paul and Peter and John ...I love people when I warn them about their sin and hell..... I'm not sure you understand what the term "love" means? Love even made a hell for some who reject the truth and serve satan.

I guess it's your opinion that every prostitute and drunk that Jesus hung out with got saved?

I have brought many sinners to Christ ..and trained others to do so.. I have people I have trained going into the jails and prisons almost every day ...and they all know the true Jesus showed grace to the humble ..but when He dealt with those in pride, he was very harsh for a reason. To break that pride. The same Jesus that humbled himself is the same Jesus that took a whip to folks that needed it.
