Let the retired tree huggers split. They've done enough damage to this State and the Nation with all their nanny legislation.
I know nothing about it except I read where they were going to vote on it before the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. Did I get the name right?..Jefferson?..when I saw the signs I said "What in the world is the state of Jefferson?" - that threw me off as I have been to every state in the US except for Alaska - but I knew that name..lol

I haven't heard the name Jefferson, it's a wonder they don't call it Che.

This guy?..I did see one home that said "This house is protected by Smith and Wesson" with the Sate of Jefferson sign on it too.

I know one thing about Brexit that I like...gold and silver jumped at the news!

Please peeps don't allow this thread to be derailed....

A few thoughts I had today:

1. On joining the EU, the commonwealth were treated abysmally, the new world we had previously traded with were dropped like a stone. Countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the US etc. I hope that we can now put this right and trade again with these countries without being blocked as has been the case with Canada.

2. I noticed that Monsieur Hollande is calling for ties with Britain to be broken sooner rather than later. It is usually the case that France turns it's nose up at Britain above any other European country - even Germany who we share a more friendly rivalry with.

3. I am sick to death of the word "racist" being bandied about whenever one airs a concern over mass immigration! How in the world is it racist to show concern over an invasion of people - especially non Christians. Everyone knows that terrorists are getting in this country posing as refugees. Refugees are typically families which include women and children and carry no possessions - not young men carrying smartphones!

4. I heard on the radio today an interview with a cabinet minister who stated that David Cameron's biggest achievement was voting in gay marriage. David Cameron, a self-proclaiming Christian.....'nuff said!

5. Listen to all the wailing from the "inners" - the wealthy London city traders! My heart bleeds for them....This referendum was a victory for the little man over the big man. Praise God!

Right I think I must be all repped out now lol. Just my way of celebrating.

It's going to be a bumpy ride but it'll be worth it in the end. I had been praying for this along with friends - some from across the pond. when I went to bed at 11pm last night everyone who is anyone was expecting the remain vote to prevail, it was being called 55% in and 45% out. even Nigel Farage was expecting us to stay...and then I awoke to the news. Thanking God for his answered prayer.

As far as I can make out. Many Brits don't even know who Trump is.
Come on? Make a real argument if you think you have a point.

Everyone in america that keeps up in the political process knows this was a HUGE win for Trump.

Without doubt and as a true minister of Christ..I say this was a move of God upon the affairs of men ..on behalf of His people.

#1 The last thing I had 'made in England' was a bicycle...age 7.
#2 Hopefully Trump wins here and ties will be reestablished.
#3 Racist? It works every time.
#4 We have our Carter and ...Obama.
#5 Be thankful there still is the 'little man' with a voice!

Congratulations from the Czech Republic to your brave decision!

I hope you will gain more freedom and in this way help to reform the "German empire" EU back to its original purpose.

Nicola Sturgeon is now calling for a 2nd Scottish referendum. I think this will happen and if it does Scotland will leave us this time, maybe in the future even Northern Ireland (who also voted to remain) may join Eire. GB will perhaps in the future look very different consisting of just England and Wales.

I am excited by the future.

Hi, just posting a few bits on here. I don't know what you all think
or whether you are interested or not.

I wanted to post some for and some against material, though to be honest it
is far easier to find the leave Europe material, than the remain material.

I for one am totally confused, the stay camp says the sky will come crashing
down financially if we leave.

The leave camp says financial it things won't be that bad I we will save billions
in benefits, NHS, housing, school etc.

It really does seem very split at the moment with politicians, country leaders
and companies on both sides of the debate.

Brussels does seem to have more and more power these days and they are not
elected by the people.
Two metaphors for how I see what just happened in the UK:
Europe is a one-room schoolhouse. The UK is the student all teachers want -- an older student who knows most of the material but is willing to help the younger students. The problem is the UK is being told by the rest of the students AND all their parents, that if they leave the entire school collapses. Whether that is true or not, the UK should not be forfeiting their goals just to bolster the others, because they weren't getting enough out of the deal to stay.

Europe is a chess set. The UK is either the rook or the queen, but the pawns are complaining that they aren't equal, so the UK should hold back. Agreed, pawns aren't equal to rooks or queens. That's not the rooks nor the queen
's problem. That is it's responsibility.

Yes, the UK may have just set off a worldwide recession. The world deserves a recession if something like this sets one off. The world has no real choice but to go through recessions a
t relatively predictable cycles. (Well, the other choice is to follow God's Law through him, but that's not going to happen on a worldwide level.) I think this is merely a course correction for the market.

Good for you, UK, for not bowing down to catering to the lowest common denominator! You've just been unshackled! You are now free to go about your lives!

This is absolute nonsense and you have no real grounds on which to make this claim. Satan masquerades as an angel of light and he does this through many different institutions and through mankind, and the political system is one institution made up by fallen man, Satan is the invisible ruler over mans affairs where the political agenda is, the Bible makes it very clear that Satan rules this world.
God's Satan's pawn? I don't think so.

The Creature and King of the Universe is still King!

It'll never happen.

Northern CA has been wanting to separate form southern CA for at least 40 years but in order for that to become a reality the whole state has to vote on it. Unfortunate for northern CA the south has the population.[/COLOR]
Same problem Jersey has. South Jersey wants to secede from North Jersey, but we/they (I grew up there, but don't live there now) want to leave because North Jersey has so many people making all decisions, and most politicians come from there. And they can do that because that's where the most people live, so it can't happen because of the vote.

The only problem is that the majority of politicians are corrupt. I doubt we will see the changes the leave campaign fought for. With Cameron stepping down we should be praying for God fearing Christians to enter politics.
We had a God-fearing Christian leading our nation a few decades ago -- Carter. "God-fearing," "common sense," and "the ability to lead to the right course of action" do NOT always go hand-in-hand.

And
In all honesty fellow man it would be wise to think before you speak, I believe in an Intelligent Purposeful Designer like the one made know in the Holy Bible, I also believe the accounts of His Son Jesus Christ but this does not automatically make me a Christian. Anyone can believe, but when one makes a claim of being a 'Christian' then that's a different matter, also, I will let Jesus Christ judge all who claim to be Christian. I know the most likely outcome of my stance right now but do you know what yours is? also, have you ever thought that I might just be at this moment in time a defender of the Abrahamic God of the Holy Bible? , pays off to think a bit.

1 Peter 4:17
For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
Then YOUR god is a hypocrite, how can your god request exclusive devotion if he also states we are to devote our lives to the rulers of this world and vote them into power, which by the way they abuse, also, that means that the bible lied about satan being the ruler of this world, you can't have it both ways, it us one or the other. Yeah a person can respect governments and not cause trouble or protest ect but in no way are we forced to vote for their corruption, now your claiming your god said to be subject to their rulership and governing over us? this world has corrupt governors? and your telling me that this is what your god wanted? what a hypocrite.
Yeah, so much for consistency even to what you say.

"Nonbeliever." Shown beautifully with just these two posts.

Kind of like saying, "I'm a big fan of Manchester United, but I sure hope anyone who plays against them wins."

I have to say I don't know Nigel Farage's viewpoints but for being a nationalist (putting Britain first and not the EU oligarchy) he should be the next PM of the UK. Even that communist corbyn wanted to stay in the EU so the people should not elect him as well...maybe Farage will restore the UK and it's economy????

I can't see Farage ever being elected as prime minister because most Brits (who btw are secular) consider him racist - as are anyone with courage enough to speak out about immigration/migration.

Now that Cameron is going, he will be replaced with like-for-like, because we don't vote for people but parties, meaning another Conservative will be chosen by conservatives, they choose their own leaders. Boris Johnson is already looking unusually ministerial but at least he is young and electable. We do not have any Christian prime minister candidates.

Corbin will be kicked out of the Labour (socialist) party, he is too old and not popular - he will never be prime minister material.

Come on? Make a real argument if you think you have a point.

Everyone in america that keeps up in the political process knows this was a HUGE win for Trump.
This may be hard to believe, but America isn't the religious icon of the world to worship. This is for the UK's good and Europe's good. Best we get out of this is one of our real (as compared to merely a political term) "most friendly nation" is no longer strapped with the ball and chain of the EU.

I don't usually watch the news on TV, but TV was on this morning and MSM is declaring Trump a bozo for being happy with this decision in Scotland (a country that voted against the decision.) And considering Hill and the Donald had nothing to do with this, I don't know why it's even mentioned along with the story.
