Who are those liberals you are talking about?

But even the elections are for 5 years only. Even the president is for 5-10 years in most countries and his election has several steps and cycles.

But decision of this type, that will change the country for decades... one round, 37% of population, done, finished, irreversible.

If you got my point.
Change as in the will of the common man standing tall against the tyrannical elite? Yeah, I like that kind of change, and may it last forever.

Just curious then, how does the voting system work in America, so say
if 75% of the population voted and 51% of those voted for Trump to be
the next president :p would Trump be president?
Not necessarily. You see, here in America, it is well known that dead democrats vote early and often. Recently in the city of Milwaukee, 50,000 more Democrats voted than there were registered voters. Funny how that happens. And you wonder why I hate liberals.

This is a load of nonsense as well.

Voting to leave EU is not a vote to pull up the drawbridge and stop trading or dealing with the EU. No one is going to be isolated.

I see where you are going now with your other posts. The future is not joining the EU, the EU is dying. It is an evil monster. The reason for voting EXIT is down to 2 things, Regaining our sovereignty so we can make our own laws again and second we get to spend our own money again.

Sovereignty trumps everything.
Sovereignty strikes fear into the hearts of globalist liberals. It ranks right up their with saying Jesus' name.

I wonder if there is some younger UK citizen on this forum that voted for Brexit... so far only people about 50 years old.
So what? With age comes wisdom.

As I said earlier, even the presidency or elections have several rounds and are for 5-10 years. The step that will change country for decades is more simple than that, that is just strange.

England had territories all over the world, that is not ruling the world. Many European countries had territories as well, Spanish would won this contest, I would say.

Thousand years? You sure?

But England can do whatever they want, I just said that it is strange that less important things have more control mechanisms than the more important things. Thats all, no need to quarrel.
You obviously have not taken much world history. Have you never heard of "The sun never sets on the British Empire?"

I grew up in a classroom with a world map full of pink. A huge amount of pink. Pink was every place that was a part of the British Empire, which later became the Commonwealth.

Canada was never a "territory" of Britain. We started as a colony, which means that we gave a lot of raw material to England. Which they paid for. And they helped us with military and defense, laws (until 1982, our laws basically had to be approved by England. At that point, our constitution was repatriated, by Trudeau Sr.) Since then we have been a country ruled by the judiciary, as opposed to a democracy, which Britain respected. Until just before Confederation, Canadians traveled freely to Britain as British subjects. Think an earlier EU, but with much tighter bonds and respect.

We still have the Queen as head of state, although other than some royal visits by various members of the Royal family, the ties are more historical, and certainly not business.

But, we got an excellent start as a nation because of our ties to Britain, and many Canadians, including myself have British ancestors.

No, Canada was never a territory. And neither were most of the other major countries of the Commonwealth. I am very excited about Britain leaving the EU. It is a concept which was doomed for failure. I read Merkel, the German Chancellor believes that the EU is the only thing that stops major wars in Europe. What a joke! We have bigger fish to worry about in the world pond, when it comes to war, than historical countries in Europe.

One thing about Trofimus is he is Czech, a communist country. He comes out with the same rhetoric as those in the EU do. Here are a few things that Nigel Farage has to say on it. People do not like Nigel, it is a shame, hes not a racist but a brilliant politician, astute and very outspoken against the evil of the EU. Here is a video of Nigel in action tearing into the EU bureaucrats and telling them how it is. Predicted quite a few things as well which have come true. So Trofimus, please have a listen and maybe you will see how things really are. I doubt you will though.

Problem with this whole immigration thing is people do not really understand it. Farage does and continually brings this up in his speeches to the EU and tells them how stupid they are for allowing anyone who lands on EU soil, the right to stay in Europe. SO what is going to happen? countless people will throw passports into sea and claim they are Syrian refugees, when in fact they are not. Interpol estimate that as many as 5000 ISIS operatives are now in Europe as a result of coming in as a refugee.

This was the point NIgel was getting over with his poster, but it backfired a bit as people do not understand and calling him a racist and picking on poor Syrian refugees. Nigel quite rightly points out that genuine refugees do not behave in the way this lot do, we should turn the ships back like the Australians did, and within a couple of days that will all come to an end.

I don't give a dog if someone calls me a racist ..these muslims have killed and raped and acted like animals ..they have proven as a people and a religion, they cannot be brought into western culture, until some real changes and reform takes place at the heart of islam. Anyone dumb enough to give their rights away to a government like the EU, is so stupid they don't deserve to be called a thinking person.

Seriously what is this 37%? You claiming that only 37% of the UK have voted to leave..... RUBBISH!
Yes, 52% of the 72% who showed up to vote. It's math.

There are people who just do not want to vote and never will. Do you force people to vote?
Do you make irreversible decisions for them either? And, at least theoretically, they have delegated some of their powers to representatives in your Parliament, not to a referendum on the street.

. Another point is that why do you assume that all those people who did not vote would have all voted for remain? I know people who wanted out and did not bother voting thinking that it was a lost cause.
I make no such assumptions.

At the end of the day we had a democratic process
I guess it's infallibility has been established then.

A referendum on the street? ... "mob rule"? I cant believe that I'm even reading such statements ? I think a very large percentage of the EU officials are ex-communist .. We have a communist take-over of Europe going on and democracy is being treated as if its nothing. I cant believe its gotten as far as it has and pray to God he destroys the whole evil thing.

I do not think the Vote Out supporters on here are arguing the process was infallible so much as it was as fair and functional as one could reasonably expect a vote to be.

There is still more game to be played. If the people who wanted to stay in the EU still want to stay in the EU, they can influence the divorce proceedings so to speak. I predict they will since everybody seems to have a different idea on how a post-Brexit UK should be governed.

Be vigilant and be organized, Outers.
