Yes in your version of the gospel it is like that, you are not accountable for your own actions. However the real gospel goes something more like this:

It does not necessarily command you to give all you own to the unbelievers or "this world" , but to be given your fellow brothers in Christ for the sake of the Gospel first.

Yes it is simpler for you to choose to go that route to rebel against Gods commandment. Know this that you will be judged for it and receive a greater condemnation than those who have no knowledge of what the bible has to say about it.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Jesus showed that he had the ability to say what the law meant

MATTHEW 5:27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery;’
MATTHEW 5:28 but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

GALATIANS 5:14 For all the law is made complete in one word, even in this, Have love for your neighbour as for yourself.

Those are covered by being willing to believe in the future bulls and lambs that will be sacrificed when they re-build a temple and the sacrifices are resumed.......:rolleyes: ( we don't really need Jesus - He just came to point us back to the law )

There is the Lord Jesus Christ way.

John 3:16-17 (NASB)

And then there by "keeping the law" way.

[SUP]10 [/SUP] For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written, "CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT ABIDE BY ALL THINGS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW, TO PERFORM THEM."

[SUP]11 [/SUP] Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, "THE RIGHTEOUS MAN SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."

You can chose all you want, You will never live up to his standard. You will fall short.. and continue..


it does not mean you cna not be a righteous person who is christlike. It means you will never EARN salvation.

If you think you can, your no better than the pharisee who crucified Christ.. Who thought they could be good enough too
